They even cut me a deal on some unexpected wood trim replacement when they discovered more damage than expected — really appreciated their honesty and flexibility. Ridge was professional, communicative, and efficient from day one. Matthew not only addressed our insulation issues for our crawl space under our addition, he was also able to replace the rotting wood wrapped around the bottom of it with a proper cement board and mortar one, a job we were expecting to have to contract separately for. John and his team got everything done in one day and left the job site immaculate. HIGHLY recommend.

From the moment they arrived, it was not a sales pitch. The owner took time to explain all options and assisted in my decisions. The day of install the crew was on time and respectful of my home. Cleaned up and took care of everything.

Ridge Remodeling was fantastic and did everything we asked and needed in a timely manner. After owning an older home for 7 years we decided to replace (yes, remove and fully replace) the old insulation, seal and sanitize the attic, and replace the batt insulation with blown in Owen’s-Corning to bring it to Dept of Energy recommendations. Unlike other companies who tried to sell us on other ‘required’ maintenance items, Ridge Remodeling listened to our needs and took a methodical approach to addressing them. David helped us through the estimate and was very responsive to our inquiries as we worked on the details of the work to be performed. He understood our concerns and also created a plan to address everything. Because of the age of our home and because of a mix of symptoms we weren’t sure if we had soffit vents, but he agreed to install baffles regardless which would allow us to cut vents into the soffits in the future should we learn they didn’t have them. (Several other companies indicated that we didn’t have soffit vents, and wanted to sell us on a number of additional work items. The absence of soffit vents in our case could create moisture buildup and cause roof issues). David wasn’t positive either way, because the same thing could happen if the old insulation wasn’t installed properly. Once we agreed on the contract John and Sam showed up exactly on time clarified with us the work they thought they were doing and what we thought they were doing and went straight to work. Although it took a full day with no breaks and falling snow they did everything to our satisfaction. They were also patient enough to answer our questions, show us the progress, and explain the products we needed as we went through the various stages. Despite the frigid temperatures they did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves. Outside of the items we had to move for them to have easy access to the attic there was no trace of them being there or working once they left. By the way, we did have soffit vents and the old insulation was indeed installed incorrectly and creating some of the other symptoms we struggled to address. Since the installation, our house keeps the heat in longer and the furnace doesn’t run as long. The temperature differences in different rooms have been solved and I’m confident that their work did exactly what we needed. I look forward to seeing our energy bills decrease by doing this. Their work ethic and attention to detail helped me have confidence in their work and garnered my support. I would easily go back to them for other work and I highly recommend them for your next project.

Ridge Remodeling unlocked the potential of my home by delivering a vision that we could not see in 6.5 years as homeowners. We live in a small townhouse in Northern VA where space is premium. I contacted Ridge about adding a storm door and knocking down a wall to add a small kitchen island. Matt (the owner) and David (the Sales Director and Project Manager) looked at our small floor and pitched an open concept which I deemed crazy at first. As remodeling and design experts, they saw an open concept that blew our minds as homeowners. It was bold, ambitious, and stunning. We hired Ridge and prepared for a major remodel by moving our stuff out of the first floor, cramping our bedrooms and basement. Living through a remodel is not fun. Itâ s dusty and cramped. The vision that Matt and David pitched us of a beautiful open concept floor with gorgeous kitchen sustained us through the hot and dusty days. When the work was finally done, the finished product exceeded our expectations. We have beautiful new flooring. Gone is the ugly textured ceiling, replaced by a beautiful new flat ceiling with recessed lighting. We have a walk-in pantry now. The kitchen now has brand new cabinets (plywood, not cheap MDF), with a big kitchen island, granite countertop and beautiful stone backsplash. For technical folks like me, it is all up to code. Every appliance has its own circuit. Compliance and safety are a top concern with Ridge. Oh yes and our living area is finally painted after 6+ years of boring white. Lots of companies can do deliver a quality end product. Ridge isnâ t the only game in town. The reason I did this job with Ridge (my 2nd in less than 2 years) is because they care about my family as clients and do a great job at project management. Ridge promised an ambitious (for us) vision. Every step of the way, from the time I signed the contract to the time we signed off on the work, David was there for us. Good news, bad news, questions â we heard it first from David. For instance, one of the cabinet doors came in scuffed. Things happen in shipping, not Ridgeâ s fault. I heard it first from David. I didnâ t have to inspect and beg for a fix after the fact. I have dozens so stories like that. David visited and inspected between 1-3 times per week. Matt, the owner, also visited and provided us with insights and expertise. They graciously talked me out of some poor taste ideas that I had (paint colors). The other reason for Ridge was quality. Everything was quality. They did not skimp on products or resources. You can do pullups on the shelves they built in that pantry â super strong. They used the premium paint, not the bottom barrel stuff that will peel in a year. Jeremias and his crew were craftsmen wizards. They are fast, they work hard, and their work is top quality. On top of that, they were delightful and fun people. I hated the dust, but I loved the work and the music and learning from Jeremias. Bottom line, Ridge Remodeling is a company of caring experts with good design instincts and high integrity. We had concepts of what we wanted. Matt and Davidâ s expertise helped fill the gaps. David is a stellar PM and great guy. They have the full trust of my family, which says a lot. They have transformed my home and unlocked potential and possibilities. Lots of companies can remodel, but there is no one else I trust. Ridge Remodeling & Design Costumer Service is outstanding. It is so well represented by Sales Rep, Dan, and Installation crew, Seth and John. They provide us with an excellent job insulating our attic space to ensure adequate airflow/ventilation, replaced two (2) gable vents, and added mesh exclusions to both gable vents. They arrived on time, conducted themselves professionally from the beginning until the end of the installation. Highly recommend their service and would hire them again!

While there are several companies that do excellent work, the Ridge difference was educating me, the consumer, as to various options and making me feel completely comfortable and empowered by my decision. My initial plan was to pile more cellulose in my attic. My Ridge manager explained that while they could do that, they educated me on the benefits of blown wool instead of simply doing what I asked. I am in a better position now because Ridge went above and beyond in understanding my needs vs just being labor. The insulation was done in less than 1 day and the crew could not have been friendlier. The team was prompt, friendly, and fixed a loose duct which occurred during the insulation process. I appreciated the post work follow-up and ensuring my complete satisfaction. If you want to work with a company that operates with integrity, willing to empower the consumer, and delivery excellent value for money then Ridge Remodeling is for you.

They did a great job. They were timely, efficient, did a great job plus some extra work that which I did not catch on the original proposal. Cleanup was very good.
