"My wife and I purchased a charming brick ranch home from the 1970s with dreams of transforming it into our ideal living space. Our first project was opening up the kitchen/family room to the living room by removing a load-bearing wall—definitely not a DIY job. We posted our project on Angie’s List and were soon contacted by Isai Huezo, owner of Huezo’s Construction LLC. On Monday, a professional crew of four, led by a foreman, arrived promptly at 7:00 AM and got straight to work. By the second day, the team had seamlessly removed the remaining 2x4s, installed a robust lintel beam, and perfectly matched the drywall and trim to the rest of the house. We also had an outdated picket wall around the basement stairs. Isai recommended modernizing it with a sleek 3-foot wall, and it was completed within the three-day timeframe. Thrilled with their exceptional work, we discussed adding a dream screen porch and deck. The estimate was too good to pass up, so we went ahead. The results were nothing short of spectacular. The screen porch was beautifully integrated with the roof joists, and the deck, built on sturdy 6x6 posts and attached to the house, was a masterpiece. The porch featured custom wiring for lights, a ceiling fan, and outdoor floodlights, with a stunning tongue-and-groove pine ceiling stained in a glossy walnut finish. The craftsmanship was top-tier, and the crew's professionalism and courtesy made the entire experience a delight. Encouraged by their success, we tackled our outdated 1970s kitchen next. Isai returned to vent and wire the microwave, install LED lighting, and add a sconce light. He even refinished the ceiling and windows. After removing the cabinets, Isai didn’t miss a beat, finishing the ceiling, painting the trim and windows, and installing a beautiful tile backsplash. When we realized our old appliances didn’t match the newly renovated space, Isai went above and beyond, helping us select and purchase new appliances and offering to install them. Huezo Construction exceeded our expectations in every way with their exceptional craftsmanship, incredible value, and the wonderful camaraderie we developed with Isai and his crew. "Project turned out excellent. Troy started by producing a detailed design drawing, allowing me to quickly gain approval from my HOA for the modifications. He then began work, identifying areas where previous builders of my deck had cut corners. Troy was able to remediate these issues as part of the project (installing missing flashing between the deck and the house, adding footers). He made several suggestions along the way to ensure excellence in the finished product. He has high standards in his craftsmanship, and it shows."

"Wes is difficult to get up with and quite busy so you have to be patient waiting for replies to emails but the work and work ethic is all worth it. I got quotes from two other larger companies and the prices were astronomical. Wes came over and provided a price broken down by materials and labor which was so reasonable, I would have questioned his price if I had not looked him in the eye and felt extremely comfortable that he was the right choice and not just because of the cost. During the project, the wood had all been sanded smooth by the deck builder which resulted in the job requiring more stain and time to complete the project. Wes was up front and easy to work with - the quality was first rate and I was so please, I gave him a second project - to repair my back yard wooden fence, replace the gate and posts, power wash and stain it. He is currently completing that project which I will provide a separate review but my neighbors on either side are seriously interested in hiring him as well."

"He was great, very flexible. He painted 4 main rooma before I moved in in about 4 days and it was very helpful. He came back later and also did the kitchen and some sheet rock repair and it just generally a very nice guy. He is very careful not to damage any possessions and will assist in moving things. "They completely outfitted the garage space and upstairs guest space with every outlet and switch and lighting and provided a lot of good insight into how the space might be used and where outlets should go or how many. They had to trench from the garage to the house to bring in power and Tommy did an all but seemingly impossible job bringing a wire from box in the house through 20ft of crawl space nobody could fit into and out a small hole. Serious dedication. The other option would have been a longer trench and ruining some landscaping. Tommy listened to my concerns and worked hard providing a great professional experience. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of professionally."
