"My wife and I purchased a charming brick ranch home from the 1970s with dreams of transforming it into our ideal living space. Our first project was opening up the kitchen/family room to the living room by removing a load-bearing wall—definitely not a DIY job. We posted our project on Angie’s List and were soon contacted by Isai Huezo, owner of Huezo’s Construction LLC. Isai visited us the next day, and his estimate was so reasonable that we eagerly hired them on the spot. On Monday, a professional crew of four, led by a foreman, arrived promptly at 7:00 AM and got straight to work. They were not only highly skilled but also incredibly polite, keeping the work area immaculate during the demolition. By the second day, the team had seamlessly removed the remaining 2x4s, installed a robust lintel beam, and perfectly matched the drywall and trim to the rest of the house. We also had an outdated picket wall around the basement stairs. Isai recommended modernizing it with a sleek 3-foot wall, and it was completed within the three-day timeframe. Thrilled with their exceptional work, we discussed adding a dream screen porch and deck. The estimate was too good to pass up, so we went ahead. The results were nothing short of spectacular. The screen porch was beautifully integrated with the roof joists, and the deck, built on sturdy 6x6 posts and attached to the house, was a masterpiece. The porch featured custom wiring for lights, a ceiling fan, and outdoor floodlights, with a stunning tongue-and-groove pine ceiling stained in a glossy walnut finish. The craftsmanship was top-tier, and the crew's professionalism and courtesy made the entire experience a delight. Encouraged by their success, we tackled our outdated 1970s kitchen next. Isai returned to vent and wire the microwave, install LED lighting, and add a sconce light. He even refinished the ceiling and windows. After removing the cabinets, Isai didn’t miss a beat, finishing the ceiling, painting the trim and windows, and installing a beautiful tile backsplash. When we realized our old appliances didn’t match the newly renovated space, Isai went above and beyond, helping us select and purchase new appliances and offering to install them. Huezo Construction exceeded our expectations in every way with their exceptional craftsmanship, incredible value, and the wonderful camaraderie we developed with Isai and his crew. We eagerly anticipate remodeling the bathrooms and building a concrete back porch with them. I wholeheartedly recommend Huezo’s Construction for any project."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Jose and his team showed up promptly every (9 am) day and cleaned up after themselves when the day was done (approximately 6 pm). Professional, courteous, and masters of their craft are the only things I can say about this job. The whole job took 2.5 days. I purchased all my materials and only paid Jose for the labor - $2200 (demolition of old tile and backing, tile installation, and associated plumbing with new shower diverter, faucet, shower head, etc.). Purchased my tile and grout separately, $900.00 - which he and his team picked up the first day of the job. Jose included the hardy board backer and the drywall for the ceiling as part of his costs. Things went so well that I when I examined the completed tile work, I immediately hired him to come back and patch / sand all my bathroom walls and paint ($375.00 on top of the tile job) this weekend. I will post pics of that when completed. My wife loves the new bathroom."
