American Pro Tech is veteran owned and operated by Ted Saunders. He has been power-washing my home for almost 5 years. I have a northern exposure w/little sun so my vinyl siding can get a bit icky! And he gets it all off each and every time. And so far, I have passed the strict annual covenant inspection of my senior living community. But I mean really, who doesn't appreciate a clean house or for that matter, a freshly washed car! They just feel better, right? Also, he has been happy to wash several of my friends and neighbors, making him productive all of us squeaky clean. This year I had him add in my driveway, walkways, patio, etc.

It went incredibly well. My roof looks like new. The owner is very responsive and patient in explaining their process. I did a lot of research and knew that power washing my roof would damage it. While the results are not immediate the treatment kills everything growing on the roof and it sloughs off over the next several months. So far no new growth has been observed.

It went well. This was not the typical power wash job. With pro-tech you get a roof treatment that kills the offending plant life and then it sloughs off. Currently we are halfway through the slough off.

From the time I called until the work was performed I had a very pleasant experience. My initial call was for an estimate to get the work done. The salesperson was very courteous and in under 24 hours they had a quote for me. When I called back to schedule the service they were able to schedule me within 3 days. It was explained exactly what work would be performed. I didn't have to be home while the work was being performed. They insisted on no payment until I had approved the job. I was also sent an official letter from the company, for my HOA, stating that the algae treatment had been performed and that it would take a while to see the results. They also provide the customer with option to pay for the service online. They provide old fashioned customer service. I was very pleased.

Ted and Jose came out to take care of some moss growing on my roof. Ted fully explained the price and what they were going to do. I also needed my siding washed after the winter. Both jobs were done in under an hour. While on the roof, Jose identified several areas that I knew needed attention. I asked Ted and Jose to please take care of those items, which included some loose shingles as well as a new roof pipe gasket for my two roof pipes. All work was taken care of quickly and professionally. Ted and Jose did a wonderful job.

Mr. Ted Saunders, the owner, personally coordinated and supervised all the planning, actual work, and follow up actions in a very personal and professional manner. He understood every detail of what we wanted and forgot nothing. On the roof, he used the appropriate cleaning methods to get the job done while not damaging the roof shingles. While cleaning the whole house siding, he did not damage the painted wood trim or spray massive amounts of water behind the siding or up through the soffit vents into our attic insulation. He also was very careful not to damage our two skylights or break their seals and cause water damage inside our family room. Anyone can buy a little pressure washing equipment, advertise some, and call themselves professional power washers. These kind of people are all over the place, and they usually cause more problems than they solve for homeowners. Ted and his employees are NOT these kind of people - they do professsional work while protecting your home. We would use this company again and highly recommend it to others.

I am very pleased with my interaction with American-ProTech and its owner, Ted Saunders. He arrived on time and did a thorough job preparing the site, inspecting his work, and going over any spots he missed on the first go-around. Whatever magic solution he and his partner used on my roof, it worked great without having to resort to a high pressure stream on the asphalt shingles. The roof stains are gone. Mr. Saunders is a very personable businessman and took the time to explain to me what he and his partner were doing at all stages in the project.
I would definitely recommend his company to whoever is troubled by roof stains.

Our dealings with American-Pro Tech and specifically with Ted Saunders the owner was beyond anything I had hoped. First let me start by saying that I made all the arrangements over the phone from Afghanistan. My wife and I (mostly my very pregnant wife) are frantically trying to get our house on the market by the end of the month, because we are having to sell it sooner than expected. So not only is time an issue for us, but we also had a slew of other contractors coming to the house to get other projects done. Not only was the cleaning beautifully done, but Ted went out of his way to fit us into their busy schedule and to make sure that their service wouldn't conflict with any of the other work being done. I would definitely use their service again, and recommend them to any friends and neighbors.

We called several companies from Angie's list on Saturday. Mr. Saunders stood out through a combination of cost estimate and professionalism so we decided to go with him. He called first thing Monday and we asked if he could fit us in that week. He stated that he had an opening that afternoon and asked if he could come out. He and his worker (Primo) came out, walked around the house again and agreed on work and price. They both were very nice, professional, and hard working. It will be some time before we will notice the effects of the moss treatment but, the front of the house and the siding looks great. Overall, we are very pleased with the work done on our house and we definitely will call them again.

Mr Saunders provided an on site quote on Tuesday and returned on Thursday to perform the roof cleaning and exterior siding wash. He explained the limits of what a cleaning could do and I was very satisfied with the results. During the roof cleaning it was discovered that several vent pipe collars were in need of replacement. Mr. Saunders offered to replace the collars for what I believe was a reasonable price and performed the work while still on site. The process was painless and completed to my satisfaction. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of such services.

Ted, was prompt and explained what he was going to do and what would happen. I was preparing my home for sale and the roof needed to look good for the photographer. He cleaned the roof until the stains were gone and explained that some of the marks were liken and that they would take time to disappear. After the roof dried there were still stains and I called Ted and told him and he came the next day and made them go away. I saw an area where there was liken on a small part of the roof and asked that he clean that. He said that after the photographer he would come back and do that, but doing it before the photographer would make it stand out. He came back and treated that part of the roof after the photographer. He had explained that the liken would still be visible for a number of days or weeks, but that it was dead. I asked him to give me a letter to that effect and he did so that if I had any questions from potential buyers I could show them the letter. All in all, Ted is one of the most responsive providers that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I would use his services again in a heart beat as well as recommend him to my friends.
