Not only were they one of the least expensive quotes I received, they did an excellent job. Inevitably, home improvement projects come with hiccups, which this project had a few of (some of them due to miscommunication on my part), but the staff and workers of Deck Buddy rolled with every issue and adjusted the plan or fixed an issue or misunderstanding as needed to perfection. "Our decks were a problem from the start. We needed to re-surface both front decks and we wanted to use composite decking, but retain the original railing. NVD striped the railing and repainted it all, then they removed the old wood decking and replaced it with Timber Tec. While doing this, they discovered my old deck was NOT square. Danny and his crew did a EXCELLENT job replacing the decking, using a product they were unfamiliar with. While they were doing this, my wife and I wanted to add a "Dog Gate" to the project to keep our dogs on the deck. Danny came up with a custom roll out gate that was made to look like the same as the original railing. Honestly, when it's closed, you can't tell it's there. I think so much of NVD Construction, I had them roof my house the following month . I highly recommend NVD Construction."

Also, Travis and Chris were careful not to recoat the deck during two days when rain threatened, and it did rain. I was surprised on how much sanding and prep work was accomplished before they applied the stain, but every home handyman knows 60-80 percent of the time associated with any repair or maintenance is in the preparation.  Three coats of stain were applied and work was completed on a Saturday, as Travis wanted to take advantage of good weather before the threat of rain came back into the forecast.  In addition deck re-coating, Travis repaired several spots on the underneath patio at minimal cost.  The price of the job was extremely fair - 50% paid before the work started and the balance after completion.  We would not hesitate to call on Graham Restoration for future work.
