G K Painting was a good experience, they accommodated us and our changes without frustration and all Gary's workers were respectful and had good attitudes while at our house. Gary always responded back to me when I reached out.

Gary and his crew did an amazing job painting the exterior of our house. They were meticulous and hard working. Gary’s quote was higher than the other quotes I received but I was impressed with his professionalism and workmanship which is more valuable than the cost savings. I would recommend and will use his services again.

GK Painting did an outstanding job! We were in a "situation" with one house under repair from a water leak, and another we were preparing to move in to. Our project(s) was not simple, and it was happening during the rainest months earlier this year...just as the pandemic was hitting. Gary and his guys didn't miss a beat. They showed up every day and worked wherever they could at the time. They did excellent work and were extremely cooperative, flexible, communicative and helpful. They have our highest recommendation (and we are contractors ourselves).

GK Painting: Gary Kassabian, GK Painting Company, is an expert, detailed, knowledgeable, thorough, and pro-active contractor whom I have relied on for several years. He first painted the interior of my two-story town house with absolute perfection. Since then he has followed up on several repairs at my town house through the years, i.e., insulation, dry wall, pipe-fitting, vanity replacement, and painting which have occurred due to problems created by other plumbing companies. Above and beyond the call of duty, he contacted the company who recently installed a new water heater for me since they did not complete the installation per code resulting in their immediate action to comply. Most recently he actually “saved the day” by single-handedly discovering a new water leak due to a malfunctioning air conditioning pump during the hottest week in 2020 in the garage which created yet another leak in the walls adjacent to the original problem he was contracted to repair, just prior to his repairing that recent plumbing problem and he personally arranged an air conditioning company to immediately install the new air conditioning pump. I recommend GK Painting 200% to anyone needing work done on their present or new home!

The owner was extremely personable and responsive. The workers were meticulous and very friendly.

I highly recommend GK Painting. We asked Gary to paint the entire townhouse: walls, ceilings, trim, closets, and doors - and we are thrilled with the results. We were sold when Gary first bid the job. He didn't simply give a cost estimate. He discussed colors, type of paint, and the way a few strategic accent walls could create a new look. His consultation helped us find a good color match with the existing floors and cabinets (which we didn't want to change). He also worked extra hard to complete the project while we were away on vacation. Coming back to a brand new space was a real treat. Gary's team did terrific detailed work. There were two pieces of art that had been painted on the wall that we wanted to keep. We didn't expect Gary's team to get right up to the edge of those pieces - but they did, and the result was perfect. All the edging was great. At the end of the project, everything was cleaned up and the result was exactly what we wanted. The entire interaction was a professional, quality experience and a great value for the money we spent. We are so satisfied, we plan on doing additional projects with GK Painting in the future.

Gary’s guys were great. Painted interior of one of my rentals and did a fantastic job. His guys were profession, on time, were efficient and overall I was very happy with the results. They cleaned up and paid close attention to detail.

After receiving a few sub-par estimates from other painters -- and with time running out -- I reached out to Gary and asked him if he could a) start our job the following week and b) finish in 7-10 days. While his estimate was a bit higher than the others, he assured me that the work and finished product would more than justify the cost. He and his professional crew delivered on both fronts, which was remarkable. Throughout the process, Gary was incredibly responsive via phone and text, and he also provided some valuable advice on our final paint colors. Our 18-year old house now looks brand new, and elicits "oohs and aahs" from onlookers near and far. The entire experience exceeded my (high) expectations, and I cannot recommend Gary and GK Painting enough. A+++

The crew was always on time and polite. 4 men worked 8-10 hours 5 days a week for 3 weeks, stopping only to have lunch. Repairing, patching, sanding, priming & painting. A lot of hand detail work. Perfectionists. Great job!

Gary, the owner of GK Painting, did a fantastic job repainting and staining all of the exterior trim on my home in Hermosa Beach. He was the first Angie’s List contractor to call me back and met with me later that day to take a look at the job. His proposal was fair and fast, he started the work less than a week later and completed it ahead of schedule. The environment is **** ** wood trim by the beach and Gary and his super polite workers did an excellent job prepping the wood, first power washing it and then taking the time to sand it properly. It looks incredible and we are looking forward to it lasting because of the high quality products Gary used. Gary was friendly and easy to work with and his workers cleaned up inside and out when they were finished. Stellar job!

I was coordinating a renovation of a condo on behalf of my parents in preparation for selling it, and doing it all from afar. I hired Gary & his crew at GK Painting to patch and paint the ceiling above the kitchen in the condo after we had canned lights installed. His price was FAR better than the other quote I got, and he was very responsive. When his crew arrived they found that a small area of nearby ceiling had texture, so he informed me that texturizing the ceiling I hired him to fix/paint would cost a few hundred dollars extra. Since we were selling it and I was trying to stay on budget for my parents, I told him they could skip texturizing, even though it wouldn't match the small adjacent area. The next day he said he would have his crew texturize the area anyway, at NO additional charge, because it was the right thing to do and he couldn't stand the job not being done correctly. I appreciated his dedication to a job well done, his consistent communication, and his fair price. I would definitely recommend him to others and hire him again for future projects! Thanks, Gary!

GK was great! We had a tight deadline that the team was able to meet. everything was done in an extremely professional matter and the place was broom swept when work was completed. The new paint made a world of difference and now neighbors, who had seen the old paint, are amazed. Thanks Gary!

Gary is the best. Don't hire any other painting company--I've learned from my mistake. If you want it done right (and you do) GK Painting is definitely the way to go. Everyone was professional and efficient and considerate.

The GK Painting team is fantastic. They did amazing work, including fixing some extensive termite and water damage. The house looks brand new and this is clearly a paint job that will last a very long time. Gary is extremely knowledgeable about painting and construction in general, and he was very professional at all times. He also helped coordinate with a gutter company, as I also needed new gutters. I would not hesitate to hire Gary again, and I will be recommending him to all my friends!

The painting work done was excellent. The extent of the wood repairs was more than originally anticipated, but all repairs were needed and were executed well. We decided to replace all of the rain gutters for consistent appearance. We have received numerous compliments from neighbors as they have walked by the house and noted the paint colors and the additional front fencing that we installed rather than repair the original wooden fence. Additionally, Gary Kasabian, the owner, was an essential participant in selecting the final paint colors, ensuring that each color was complementary to the others and provided eye interest without being distracting. He also provided expert advise regarding craftsmen to build the new block/stucco wall along the front of the house and to take down and replace the rain gutters. He was on site daily and sometimes several times a day. He was always available by text or phone. Bottom line, we are very pleased with the way our home now looks and are glad that we selected Gary and GK Painting to do the job!

I am very satisfied with interior painting they did. Gary responded for the request for estimate right away, gave me a quote at the spot. They finished work earlier than promised. I'm impressed with their workmanship and customer service.
