In 2018 I did over a $200,000 complete home renovation. I called upon AES to completely redo my single home HVAC to a 3-system installation. "I had had a heat pump "tuneup" by an unnamed company in November and I was told the defrost board was not functioning and it would cost about $550 to fix it.  I made no decision immediately but after finding the cost of the defrost board on line I thought the repair price was high.  I chose David Ashcom from reviews on Angie's list and called asking to have the defrost board replaced.  The woman I spoke with was very helpful and she said her husband liked to assess the heat pump himself and would charge $75 for that service.  When I asked what the approximate cost for replacing the defrost board the quote was considerably less that the $550, so I engaged their services.  I received a call from the woman at Ashcom's office after the repairman had looked at my heat pump and she stated he found nothing wrong with the defrost board.  I was incredulous and she had the man check again but again following testing he found nothing wrong.  So $75 was all I paid and my heat pump has been working well through this cold winter.  I know i will never call the first company again but will definitely call on David Ashcom for any heating and air conditioning problems.  It is refreshing to find honest people these days.

"Very well. They ordered the system and kept us updated on progress and delivery. We scheduled a work date and it was completed on the scheduled day, within the scheduled time frame. Price was much lower than other estimates, and included a new thermostat and changing the location of the intake vent & filter to make maintenance much easier for me. We've had no problems since then, and have been very happy with new system.

"Paul and Andrew diagnosed that the back porch lamp had a rusted the socket.  They went to a building supply store, bought a similar fixture to the one that needed to be replaced, and were back quickly to install it.
They worked efficiently and professionally and were very personable. 
They also gave me a quote for what it would cost to replace the other outside light fixtures, which was very reasonable.  We will be calling them again for future electrical work.
