We did are due diligence by getting more than one estimate before proceeding and Jaber Construction was really affordable compared with other ridiculous estimates we received. That being said Jaber Construction's work was fantastic! Nick the owner and his crew were very professional, and Nick was always available and easy to communicate with if we had any concerns regarding the remodel. Nick also suggested a place to get our tiles which made the process so much easier. From start to finish he and his crew were very professional and punctual. There was a lot of moving pieces to this remodel, but Nick made it pretty much pain free! I would highly recommend Jaber Construction for your remodeling needs!"

"While it is normal for remodeling projects to create chaos and to be the muse of many a horror story, this ended up with a very pleasant end result. We had a complete renovation down to the studs to bring things up to code, which included ripping out the sub flooring and quite a bit of pipes. Parts were ordered and lost and found. Things went on backorder and were discontinued. We fortunately had a fantastic crew. Ismar (the contractor) did an awesome job of making sure that everything was done to spec and built beautifully. He followed our wishes and came back on the weekend and late to be sure the work was done right. The only real challenges were with the design and oversight from the office, between the designer losing our design specs on the first pass and not communicating proactively about delays or back orders, but thankfully these were more annoyance than problem. After a few handoffs, we got Eric E. as project manager, and he saw us through the rest of the project with much better results and only about 30% oversight still needed from us. Overall, we got a great bathroom out of the deal, so 4 stars."

We had originally hired them to remodel our master bathroom but when COVID hit we shifted our focus to our partially unfinished basement. They had no problem with the change and quickly designed our basement for secondary living and room for extended guest stays. We truly appreciated the professionalism, workmanship and, above all, cleanliness of the TCB team. They went above and beyond to clean up each and every day. They wore masks and kept their distance from our family. They fielded questions from subcontractors so we didn't have to be unnecessarily exposed. The space itself turned out beautifully and has already proved invaluable. When our teen was recently exposed to COVID he was able to very comfortably isolate until he received his negative diagnosis. "Some of the designs that were offered when designing the basement were not actually available and I was not told until they were already doing the install. The breaker for the basement lights and plugs seems overloaded because it will trip when I have the treadmill plugged in. There were a couple of places where the paint did not appear to dry correctly and had to be redone and still has an uneven surface. They got it done quickly but you could definitely tell it was rushed."

"Looking for a company to work with on some major and minor house renovations and repairs, I found Two by Four Construction through a special on Angie?s list.  I was contacted immediately and Gary came out to review my list of projects and discuss what could be completed and helped me develop a list of any other items needed for purchase before the renovations/repairs. Gary was incredibly helpful and positive and we set up a date for two weeks hence.
Two members of Gary?s team, Ralph and Bethany, arrived promptly at 7:30 as scheduled; we reviewed the work to be done and they immediately laid drop clothes to cover the rug and tile areas for traffic.  Their work style and manner were impeccable.
Bethany, Tile Lady Extraordinaire, discussed the project before starting and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted.  She was incredibly knowledgeable and had the best ideas to offer -- some of which we used in the project.  Bethany tiled and grouted my kitchen backslash and replaced the electrical plates, smoothed out a rough patch of drywall at the backsplash site, and replaced the kitchen blinds.  She was methodical and patient; her work was precise, neat and beautiful.  I couldn?t have asked for more. 
The handymen replaced numerous light fixtures and water faucets, installed a vent cover, and repaired a storm door frame which had not closed or locked properly for several years. 
I was so pleased with the completed projects, the standard of the work, as well as the professional demeanor of Two by Four Construction?s employees.  I will use them again in the future.
