We were extremely pleased with the 3 bathroom remodel projects by Step by Step Remodeling. The planning, communication, advice, and workmanship were excellent. Vlad and his crew were always on time, worked hard, cleaned up every day, minimized dust/mess in the house, were trustworthy, and true professionals. He had specific crews for demo, plumbing, electrical, and tiling. His tiling guys are some of the best in the business. Vlad was very hands on too and when he wasn't working on the house was checking on his crew several times a day giving them specific instruction. He walked you through what to expect each day and always asked for our preferences when decisions needed to be made. Their estimates were very competitive and completed the work faster than others could (also worked weekends with our permission). Can't say enough positives about our experience and highly recommend Step by Step Remodeling.

Excellent customer service and quality work. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. This job entailed installing tile in a front and back foyer. I wanted a certain look which involved complicated cuts and marble accents and trim, and the crew was patient and involved me at each step as different options were considered. The crew showed up on time ever day, were courteous, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Quick - completed the job in two days which involved removal of old hard wood floors and carpeting. I'm planning to use them again on other upcoming projects.

I contacted Vlad to get an estimate, one of three, for a small job of a kitchen backsplash. He was the only contractor who came out to the house to give me an estimate and was the least expensive. His co-worker arrived on time to install the backsplash. Vlad's wife also accompanied his co-worker to ensure everything was ok before she left. At the end of the job, she made sure I was happy with the finished product. I was thrilled with the finished product. Vlad and his crew are craftsmen and it shows with their workmanship. I highly recommend Vlad and his team for your next tile project--they are professionals.

This was a full Master Bath Remodeling. These guys were fantastic. they were honest and trustworthy to the max. They were right on time, every time. Fantastic job. Met us at the Tile Shop and helped us answer any questions while picking out our tile for the shower and Master bathroom. Replaced lights, plumbing, mirror, etc.. after all tile work was completed. Even replaced door and cabinet knobs for us. fixed nail pops and repainted walls and ceiling as requested. Perfect job. Cost was reasonable, cheaper than most, and provided receipts for everything. Totally above board with everything. Can't say enough good things about them. Vlad is the owner and works right along with other crew and onsite to ensure all goes as he expects.

The entire experience including cost, customer service and the workmanship was way beyond expectation...... I wouldn't hesitate 5 seconds to use them again.

I originally hired Vlad to do tile replacement around my shower/tub but upon removing the tile, there was significant water damage behind the wall. It just made more sense to do an entire remodel and Vlad not only gave me an excellent price, but completed the job in a week. He and his workers did an outstanding job and worked with an obvious sense of pride and detail. He was very considerate, honest, and exceptionally hard working. He deserves all the excellent reviews written.

Vlad and crew did a fantastic job on remodeling my small hall bathroom. They removed the tub, replaced the floor, installed a wonderful new shower with seat, replaced the vanity and counter, installed a new toilet, and painted. Great job and I intend to have him update my half bath and one in the basement. Highly recommend!!!

Vlad was responsive, detailed and did a terrific job. Very professional, workers with him very polite and professional. Did an outstanding job exactly what I wanted at a fair price. I had a backsplash installed in my kitchen - 40 ft. so was a fairly large job. I will do other jobs with him in the coming year.

Vlad did a beautiful job. He worked with me on an open house deadline. After I purchased the tile Vlad determined I bought a color that was too light to match so he took the time to purchase tile and do the job right. My floor was done wrong originally and he set it level and strong so no more cracking.

I had a 8' x 25' wall resurfaced with stone. Step by Step did a wonderful job! It turned out beautiful! They were very prompt, very honest , very polite and they were right on schedule. They did a very good job and they make sure that everything is just right. they took very good care of the area surrounding where they were working as to not make a mess. They made sure to clean everything up before they left. One of, if not the best, companies that I have had do a job for us. I was absolutely satisfied with them in every aspect of the job. I highly recommend Step by Step they take pride in their work and a pleasure to work.

Vlad is professional in every aspect of the process , from the prompt reply for estimate, setting up time line, maintaining communication, recommending suppliers, to the beautiful finished project. He replaced wall to wall on stairs with hard wood and the lower level of or Old Town house with porcelin tile. He and his worker finished on time and on budget. I am so very pleased with the finished work. I would hire him again and reccommend STEP BY STEP without resevation.

We hired Step by Step to install tile in our kitchen and bath. The work involved removing the old floors, bath vanity and toilet and installing new porcelain tile. Vlad and his team did an excellent job - they worked efficiently, but more important they were very thorough and willing to spend extra time to do the job right. They were also very clean and the tile was laid precisely. The customer service was great as well, as Vlad was willing to answer the numerous questions my husband and I had prior to the start of the job.

I�ve worked with a lot of contractors during the construction of multiple homes over the past 20 years and I must say that Vlad�s customer service ranks among the very best; he is knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. He performed a thorough assessment of my kitchen floor prior to beginning work and he kept me abreast of any potential risk. He uncovered a small leak hidden beneath my floor and provided immediate advice. He was very neat and protected all the adjacent floors with protective covering during construction. He proceeded with each phase of the project only after requesting approval to do so. He�s price was outstanding and
