Firehouse Chimney aka Seymour Chimney Cleaning was started in 1983 by my father and brother, Al and Mark Leitch, Dad saw a need for a local sweep due to the high number of chimney fires in the community. Al is a 30 year veteran with the local fire department. Now I (Kent, Al's youngest son) have managed and operated the company since 2000. I work full time at the City of Knoxville Fire Dept and attend church at Calvary Chapel Church. Our first priority is safety, 2nd is affordability. We treat people like we would want our grandparents treated, with kindness and respect. The customer is right. We always appreciate any feedback, whether good or bad, it helps us improve and grow. We are a debt free company that is family owned and operated with help from selected firefighters and paramedics. We offer free inspections in the Seymour / south Knox area. "They arrived earlier than scheduled. They cut down several trees for me and did stump grinding for three of them. One tree approximately 60 feet tall required them to place the lift between my deck and a fence and drop all parts of trees in a 20 foot opening and they did. They were very professional and had top notch equipment. All workers were well trained and did an excellent job including a comprehensive clean up. Price quoted was the price after I expressed satisfaction with what was done."

FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

First my daughter discovered a really bad leak in the back of her bedroom, I found VPR Roofing on Angie's List, called and Linda had some guys come that afternoon and tarp the roof. They all came back within a week and replaced the entire roof. The roof now looks fantastic and it will enhance the value of the property. The guys working were excellent, very professional, polite, responsive and they cleaned everything up, didn't leave a nail. They are the best! I was a little hesitant at first given my previous experience with a contractor who was not good and did not live up to the "word of mouth referral" on some other projects around the house. I would highly recommend them to everyone needing a new roof or just needing some repairs!"
