We were in a bind. Hot, humid weather and no air conditioning. My husband called an HVAC business from a TV ad. They couldn't come for 4 days. I called Angi's and got an immediate response from HVAC Jack. He arrived within an hour, assessed the problem and repaired it. As Jack was finishing up outside, he detected the smell of gas. We had a leak. Jack was extremely helpful: he called the local fire department to shut the gas off then call Atmos, our gas provider for a repair. Jack stayed until the fire department arrived to shut off the gas so we would be safe. How many repairmen would not only respond quickly to our immediate HVAC problem but contact the fire department and gas provider before he left. I would use HVAC Jack again and again if needed. If you need HVAC repair or maintenance or even a replacement, you want to call HVAC Jack. He returned our call promptly, and was able to work us in the next day for a repair. He showed up when he said he would, and he got right to work to triage and identify the problem. He fixed the part that went bad and his costs for the order and service were very reasonable, very likely well below the rate for bigger companies.

Excellent work done for a great price! Answered my call, on Easter Sunday(!) within about an hour. Was very upfront about pricing and flexible on scheduling for the following day. Came right on time, got right to work, and was done before I knew it. Will absolutely be calling again any issues pop up!

When he came out the first time, he said the duct work needed fixed. When we hired him to replace unit, my husband stated he wanted new duct work. This was not done. When I reminded him that he said it needed replaced, he said it was the system causing air not to come through and the duct work was fine. When I asked him if he went under the house to check, he said he did not have time, it would be a few weeks. It's been 2 months! How did he know the duct work was fine if he didn't check it? He's psychic, I guess! He brought the wrong vent covers. I texted him the day he installed system about changing them out. Still waiting. Once he was paid, his nice and wanting to help demeanor turned to, "I am busy."

Came out and assessed the problem. Ordered a new part for $200 that did not fix anything. Contacted him again that it was not fixed. Was told by him that he will be out to look at it. I am still waiting two weeks later. Now I have to hire someone else to come out for the same reason.
