I can't say enough good things about this company. First my daughter discovered a really bad leak in the back of her bedroom, I found VPR Roofing on Angie's List, called and Linda had some guys come that afternoon and tarp the roof. They all came back within a week and replaced the entire roof. The roof now looks fantastic and it will enhance the value of the property. The guys working were excellent, very professional, polite, responsive and they cleaned everything up, didn't leave a nail. They are the best! I was a little hesitant at first given my previous experience with a contractor who was not good and did not live up to the "word of mouth referral" on some other projects around the house. I would highly recommend them to everyone needing a new roof or just needing some repairs!

I was purchasing a home in Chapel Hill, TN in October of 2017, with closing date scheduled for 27 October. Based on a home inspection the house desperately needed a new roof. I contacted a roofing company (McMurray Boy's) that was highly rated on Angie's list to give me an estimate, which they did. My offer on the home was amended to include the cost of the new roof, and the owners agreed. I closed on the house, had the estimated cost of the roof ($3800.00) put in escrow with the title company and then called the roofing company (which took a week to get an answer) and told them to proceed with the work. I was informed that they had 16 other jobs ahead of me, but would get my roof done by late November. They never did call me back. Fast forward to this week: I called VPR roofing on Friday, January 5, 2017. Their estimators (Chad and Dennis) came out on Monday, January 8, gave me a written estimate of $4280 for the entire new roof, using the best available materials with lifetime warranty (synthetic underlayment and GAF HD shingles). They also told me that the (probable) reason I never heard from the other roofing company again is that they had underestimated the job at $3800.00. I agreed to the estimate provided by VPR and asked them how soon they could get to work. My old roof was blowing off and I needed help quickly. VPR showed up Wednesday morning, January 10, before 9:00 AM with three trucks and a crew of six men. By 4:30 PM I had a beautiful new roof on my house. Those men did a phenomenal job and were extremely kind to work with. They cleaned up extremely well and left nothing for me to do except call the title company and tell them to release the escrow funds. Only issue now is that I will have to find the money to pay the extra $480.00 which would have been paid by the sellers if the first roofing company had estimated the job properly. I am super pleased with VPR and told them I would be happy if they put their sign in my front yard. Addendum: During the process of estimating the work on my house Chad discovered that his company had installed the new roof on my neighbor's house AND his 1100 square foot garage (directly across the street) two years prior, and that man is a very happy customer too.

VPR always does great work. They've installed 3 roofs for me and are always prompt, professional and very reasonable on price. They clean up after the job and process all the paper work required for warranty registration.

Vanderpool Roofing did a wonderful job replacing my roof and correcting some faults that were there for years. They worked fast and carefully. They were constantly picking up scrap and kept the yard clean. They did not spare the nails. Had to replace some wood and did a great job with at a fair price. I got a real quality job! You cannot go wrong with this company. They are trustworthy. My house looks great.

Provider arrived early and quickly diagnosed the leak.  Then he immediately took to the roof and fixed all the problems.   He took photos, before and after.   I will use them again and recommend them.

Contractor admitted the mistake.  Owner was not there and apparently unavailable.  They patched back in white shingles the entire ridge vent area, sides and several tabs along the back side of the roof.  Horribly mismatched.  The roof was older but not in ned of replacement or repair.  We had no intention of spending any money on the roof.  Our Dad has dementia and actually did come out the house to stop the workers, however they had already removed a portion of the roof.
The owner was very disrespectful and even unapologetic.  Seemed very agitated that I even asked to speak to the owner.  He stated they made it right by replacing just what they had torn down and it would be impossible to match.  We were not trying or wanting to get a new roof, the owner stated multiple times we would not get a new roof from him.  He offered to have us get other quotes and he woul dmatch the other contractor's quote to do the work.
How is this any diffeent than anyone showing up at your home uninvited  and begin destroying your property, then offering to repair it for a price?  The owner he even told us that we should just get a lawyer if we wanted anything further from him.  Stated he did not need the business and we were being unreasonable.  After askiing him if he had even been to the site, he said no but did agree to do so.  He even admitted it would not be satisfactory to him and they would attempt again to put different shingles back, though stating repeatedly it would not match.
I even asked what if my Dad had not stopped them and they had removed all the roof, he responded I guess I would have had to give you a new roof.
At this point, we could not market the house in that condition if we wanted to do so.  We have no recourse now other than to replace the entire roof, soley due to the contractor's negligence.

fantastic crew... efficient, neat, no nails on the ground, gutters and soffits and fascia in place. Have referred Bill and crew to others and have made my building available as a recommendation site for Vanderpool. Vanderpool does what he says they  will do and does it extremely efficiently  and in a timely fashion.. Have referred my clients to Bill and they will say the same thing.

We were very pleased with their service.

The history:
I have a leak in my roof where the sun room joins the house.  Vanderpool patched it a third time, and it leaked again.  The Home Owners Association called in another roofer, who repaired the leak.  It is now leaking again.  Apparently this is going to be a difficult problem, and will take more extensive examination of the roof to find where the leak is coming from.  I regret not having Vanderpool coming out to do the work...perhaps there previous experience with my roof could have helped them uncover the real source of the leak.

The men came early that morning, and had the old roof off and the new one on in about 6 hours. They hauled the old shingles off, cleaned up, and made sure there wasn't any nails left in the yard. They were efficient and professional. They did a great job, and we would highly recommend Vanderpool Roofing.

These guys are amazing. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient. They installed a new roof along with gutter guards. Also put in a ridge vent on my older home. I have a patio under the deck that I asked if they could build a ceiling for to block rain. They agreed they could and by far exceeded my expectations. I give them A+++ for everything. Andrea at the office was very efficient in responding to all my questions. They beat ALL local competitors by at least $1500. Do yourself a favor and call these guys immediately.

We later received a written estimate for our job in the mail; however, it was for twice the amount of the estimate we accepted.
