He listens and offers suggestions when needed or appropriate. I also used an interior designer with whom he worked with ease. We had an aggressive time frame for this project and it was met. Our two favorite things about working with Gary and his crew are 1) their quickness in responsiveness and 2) quality control. On multiple occasions I witnessed Gary instructing a crew member to "rip it out and start all over". In our experience with house projects, that is a rarity. Most contractors are okay with mediocre work to save time and effort. As a result, the end product was great. "Davis Contracting was one of the few companies that called back and he came to see the job on the same day. Alexander has a fabulous team; they are craftsmen. They had to put my deck back together some of the crew did the power washing and some did repairs and some completed the building portion and some did the staining. This was a big job. They pressure washed two large decks repaired all necessary lumbar and stained everything. They also had to move lots of furniture. They were just terrific."
