If he decided the work wasn't for him for whatever reasons, he should have told me he wasn't interested, not tell me he would get back to me with an estimate."

They were paid twice for the initial work because the contractor indicated that they did not receive the PayPal that was sent to them on 10/21/2025. Contractor requested that another payment be sent via Zelle with the understanding that the PayPal payment be returned or canceled. I have not heard from contractor regarding work or refund and I am still waiting on my returned funds via PayPal. "

On the phone, he quoted $150/hr and said location didn’t matter. He showed up late, brought an 8-port switch but no Ethernet cables, shoved wires back into the wall, used me as his tester, and labeled/tested nothing. After about an hour with no real work done, he demanded $600 for 1 hour 10 min., claiming a “$600 minimum” and travel time from Maryland—none of which was disclosed. I negotiated to $450 only if he left the switch; later I found the exact model online for $17. Days later, a pro recommended by my remodel contractor finished the job properly for $300 in under two hours, with real tools, ethernet cables, and clean results. I’ll never use Angi for computer/network work again. Angi should show verified business addresses. High ratings here look suspicious. Avoid this company."

When he first came to see the project, he gave me a very reasonable estimate for just a few hours of work after I explained the problem. However, once he started working, he discovered several complex issues that required extensive troubleshooting — yet he never revised his price. He came to my home four times to make sure everything was fixed and that the theater system was fully up and running. Despite all the extra effort, he honored his original quote. I was so impressed that I added a little extra to show my appreciation — though he never asked for it. His top priority was clearly customer satisfaction and the quality of his work.
