I received my quote for the work by email which was great I paid the first half of the payment up front on that same email, and when the work was complete I received an email and the remainder of the total cost was transacted on that email. There should not be any visible gaps between the garage door and frame. If the gap is big enough that you can either see daylight or feel a draft, this indicates a problem. It's best to use a silicone- or lithium-based lubricant since they're designed to deeply penetrate the door's components and provide long-lasting protection against wear and tear. If your garage door seems to freeze every winter, you can try rubbing silicone spray or petroleum jelly around the edges and rollers of the garage door. However, it’s a good idea to avoid direct application of silicone sprays like WD40 to rubber edges, which could damage them over time. A garage door that frequently freezes shut could need a full replacement, especially if it’s showing signs of rust or other wear and tear.
