I purchased an Amarr garage door from Door Pro America thru their Costco sales program. I waited the required 4+ weeks for manufacturer, the door arrived at their location, they scheduled the installation, only to call the afternoon before the install to say they wouldn't be coming. The young lady had no further information. When my wife called to ask why, she was told they received the wrong door, we'd have to wait another 4-6 weeks. I called and was told the Customer Service Manager would call me back. I did like wise for three days, still no call back. Finally, a lady called, identified herself as the Customer Service Manager and simply said we'd have to wait, they didn't want to "rush" the manufacturer; no apology, no "here's what we'll do for you," just wait. She was in no way "customer service." I asked about their process for receiving things, she had no idea; I recommended checking products on arrival instead of the night before delivery; she had no response. In frustration with her attitude, I asked for the President of the company; she said they didn't have one. By the way, I also tried calling the original salesman and left voicemail for three days, no response whatsoever. She obviously told someone, because I received a call from the location's Operations Manager. He apologized, said they were contacting the manufacturer, and said they would add 5% to the Costco card we received as part of the deal, and he'd call back as soon as he talked with Amarr. That's fine, though I'd prefer they just do things correctly, like verifying it was the right door BEFORE scheduling the install. The Operations Manager called again stating the timeline expected (much better than 4-6 weeks) and said he'd call again on the expected delivery date. That date came and went, no call; so after two more days I called them. Again, no one available, no door in hand, "it will be a couple more weeks!" You'd think after the first time thru this, they'd learn! Apparently not! By the way, I contacted Costco who was literally no help; apparently their service has gone the way of dodo too! Door Pro America's Operations Manager has one opportunity, call me today, then I cancel this order completely and move on.

Run as far away from this company as you can. Door Pro installed a new garage door for me. Right from the start I had problems. The install was poorly done, the technicians sent to repair the install created more problems. Now they are refusing to correct the most recent problem that their technician just created.

I like the Amarr doors, but that's Amarr. Door Pro America (DPA) installation simply stinks, and the company needs to do better. I purchased two Amarr Heritage 3000 doors through Costco through DPA. Sales side went smoothly, friendly, and informative. Only negative was poor communication on the trim seal, since it was a specific point I asked about and reflected in three installation visits. Installation was problematic and frankly terrible. Four different installation visits and installation remained problematic, granted installer 2 didn't do anything. I suppose the simplest installation task is the trim and bottom seals, yet it took four installation visits. Granted first two was due to the sales side miscommunication. After four installation efforts and since the fourth installer arrived past appointment window, I gave up and just fixed the issues myself. Installer 4 replaced bottom seal with a much wider seal than original and bulged out all different ways, not only pushing side trim seals out and causing gaps, but an improper bottom seal. I gave up and just bought and installed new ones myself. The popping sound I mentioned to installer 3, who didn't investigate or care, ended up being what I thought and told him it sounded like: popped bolts. Installer 1 fastened them crooked and they stripped/popped out. Installer 3 also drove in a trim nail crooked which caused a long scrape on my new doors, which he said not to worry about when I told him there was a scraping noise. Installer 3 cut side trim seal too short, and installer 4 didn't install the replacement trim seals correctly since there were gaps causing light, thus weather intrusion on the sides, not to mention those large bottom seals being a hot mess. I thought one of the DPA customer service reps was communicative, but all overshadowed by crappy installation. So after four 8-5 installation time windows (which they missed once), having to buy new bottom seals, and doing installation repair work myself, would I recommend DPA? probably not.

We purchased our replacement garage doors through Costco and Door Pro America was their chosen provider. It turned out to be a great choice! The communications before the installation was very good, notifying us of when we were scheduled to have the installation done, etc. Even a slight change in the schedule due to one crew member being sick was done professionally. We were called and informed, and the new time was met. The morning of the installation everything went very smoothly. The crew was professional and fast. The swap out of the systems, which included new rails, springs, etc. all went very well. The team cleaned up all the old items, doors, rails and all. A very friendly team, they provided helpful hints on how to maintain the doors with a regular touch up of lubricants for the springs and rails. I highly recommend them, super job!

Door Pro America came out to replace two damaged garage doors and soon realized that the contractor who repaired the wall had not installed the necessary supports for the replacement doors.  Instead of saying the work couldn't be completed the installer took it upon himself to correct the situation and continue his installation, saving us time and aggravation.  We are so impressed with the installation and the fact that they went above and beyond to make it all work out.

In addition, the manufacturer delivered a door with a small dent, Door Pro America ordered the replacement and will be out shortly to have the custom panel replaced.  Top notch company and would recommend to anyone looking for incredible customer service and workmanship.

Minor came out right on time and replaced my garage door opener with a new one. The old one had quit working.
Since I had bought this from them the first time and it had a lifetime warranty all I had to pay for was the $150.00 service call.
I am very pleased with them.

I had a hard time getting in touch with anyone at Door Pro over the phone. Left several messages but never heard back. Finally I visited the place and had a good experience. I was told to go with with the quiet LiftMaster door opener 8355. The price including installation was $375 for each of the 2 garage door openers. Mario came for the installation and he was professional and on time. He worked straight for almost 2.5 hours and installed the openers. He demonstrated the operation of the openers & offered some troubleshooting tips. I have had no problems at all with the garage doors or openers since the installation.

We went through Costco for two new garage doors and the company they use is Door Pro America.  It took a little while to have a salesman come out for an estimate, but that is because they do a lot of business, which we took as a good sign.  The salesman Matt was very professional and had a good knowledge of the product.  We thought the prices were fair.  We ended up purchasing a higher level of door than Matt recommended, because it had some features we wanted, but I was impressed that Matt did not try to push us into the more expensive product.  Because our doors were special order, he said it would take 3 weeks for the doors to arrive and that estimate was right on.   When we set up the installation, they gave us an 8AM - 5PM window, but the day of they updated the arrival time, and the installer actually called to see if he could come early.  The installer was very friendly and professional and removed the old doors, installed new tracks and the new doors, and reinstalled the new doors in about 2.5 hours.  He hauled away the old doors and tracks and left behind no mess or debris.  The only issue with the installation was that the decatrim panels for the windows were on backorder, but another installer (who also friendly and professional) came out just 3 days later to install the panels.  We're very happy with the look and the quality of the new doors; they are 2" thick and we can already feel a difference in the temperature in the garage due to the level of insulation of the doors.  We're very pleased with the product and the experience.

Overall great experience.  They were prompt, took away the old door and opener, and installed the new door in just a few hours.  The pricing was very reasonable for the upgraded door we chose and the whole process worked out great from intial contact (when our door bent and would no longer open) to install.  They were able to schedule us quickly (only 5 days) as they had the door we wanted (a popular model) in stock.  We shouldn't need their services in the near future but would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a garage door replacement and install.

Initial hiccup in a mis-measured door, but that was fixed easily.  The installer was friendly and informative.  There was a slight wrinkle in the door pad, and they came out promptly to fix it.  Only downside:  they couldn't help us program the keypad.

Door Pro America came out and gave an estimate that was four hundred dollars cheaper than one of  their competitor.  I was told that it would take 4-6 weeks for the special order would arrive for installation.  Received a call on 10 Mar 15, to coordinate installation of the two doors with openers.  The installer(2 men) arrived on 17 Mar 15, around 10:20 AM, introduced them selves and begin to remove the old doors and all supporting hardware.  The two man crew worked for six and half hours without taking lunch/break and was able to install the two new doors but determined that they would not be able to complete the job in one day.  All old material were loaded and taken away and the work area was lefted cleaned.  One installer returned the next day and completed the job.  The installer alerted me that he had install both doors and openers and wanted to show/demonstrate the operation of both doors and openers which worked perfectly.  I was shown how to install the security codes on the outside pad and shown how to maintain the annual maintenance of the door.  Door Pro America is a professional Company with outstanding employees that are trained and know their profession.  The wife and I are completely happy with the entire experience with Door Pro America.  I recommend their outstanding service to anyone in the need of replacing their garage door/opener.  The price, product, and service were truly OUTSTANDING!

They installed two 9'x7' garage doors, model Stratford 3000.  There was no issue in scheduling or making a last minute change on my part.  The installer called i hour before his arrival which was on time.  He was professional, polite and helpful.  Not only did they replace and remove the builder grade doors but they also installed new rails, brackets and torsion bar spring, which is safer than the springs I had. Finally, I was never able to program my remotes and keypad for my doors.  Angel did those in 30 seconds and replaced the battery for free.

The overall service was great. They called about 1 hour prior to arrival. The technician was extremely professional and as near as we can tell, the product was installed properly. He kept the work place very clean and cleaned up any mess prior to his departure. While we offered him water and other items, he politely refused and kept on the job during the whole time it took to install these garage doors. Probably one of the most courteous technicians we have worked with.

They were very professional and did a great job. Amazed at the amount of work and quality in the amount of time they were here. First guy who came out was ready to leave in a couple of hours, I changed my mind on the openers I wanted and they said it was no problem to change it. A week later they changed out the openers. Ready to explore all the options I wanted.
