Spotsylvania Overhead Doors has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The installation was originally scheduled for President's day but we got hit with a snow storm; however, they were quick to call and reschedule at my earliest convenience (while being considerate of my work schedule, which is a huge plus!) They came out and within 30 minutes my garage door opener was installed and ready to go; They even programmed my car to control the opener. All I can say is that this is a great company! The price was the best from all the other companies I called (used an Angie's List coupon) and their service was top notch. I'll be recommending them to all my friends and family AND I'll be using them for any future garage door needs!
They immediately started putting the door together. Within 90 minutes I had a garage door that looked great. I watched as they unpacked and configured the door. They really knew what they were doing.
When they were done - he asked me if I had the lock - I forgot to purchase the inside lock when I got the door - they gave me one at no charge - also gave installed a handle to help me open and close the door.
They did a great job!! I am very happy with the work they did and would recommend them!
I had a need to replace the builder installed basic garage door that was binding each time it opened or closed. I got a number of estimates for an insulated door that were all very close, but after talking with Julie (office manager) decided to have them do the work I added glass inserts that needed to be ordered and it took only 4 days before Julie called back on Friday and scheduled the job for the following Monday.
It was obvious Charlie has been doing this for some time as he had a process for removing the old door, rails, and springs quickly and easily.
The whole installation took only a few hours, plus Charlie adjusted the garage door opener and corrected some wiring that may have created an issue in the future without additional charge. He is a very good-natured person and also had no issue with me occasionally getting in the way as I watched him work.
I would recommend this company for any overhead garage door work you may encounter.
