The job included designing/redoing our frontyard bed, installing downspouts, building a 330 square foot backyard patio bordered by a dry creek, installing natural stone steps leading up to the patio, and designing/executing new backyard landscape beds. Our backyard - which is on a slope and not a huge space to begin with - looks out onto a shared driveway. Given that, my wife and I struggled with how to create a sense of privacy in our backyard without having a fence installed. Of all the professionals we met with initially, Ben, our Project Manager and Connor, who did a lot of the design work, had the clearest vision of how to get it done. Both were mindful and in tune with what was important to my wife and I. Both were creative in working within the parameters of our space to deliver what is in my opinion, the very best job that anyone could have done. Big credit to the the teams that came out and did the work as well, Cheto included. The results are stunning and my wife and I couldn’t be happier

All materials were high quality, and were installed in accordance with manufacturers instructions and best practice. Ground Effects has done other projects for me over the years, and none has failed or needed significant rework or repair. "We contacted Groff back in November 2021 wanting to completely overhaul our backyard. We didn't have a ton of space but it was completely unapproachable and always flooded. I told them I wanted a backyard that was low maintenance and something I was happy to actually spend time in. Additionally, we needed the water issue dealt with. They worked with us through multiple design iterations and about 7 months later we started construction in the back. We have been extremely happy with the results. "Edwin and his team of 7 workers were fantastic. Completely remove old yard grass and dirt all by hand (and hauled away), added topsoil, leveled/graded new soil, and installed new freshly cut sod from that morning. New yard looks fantastic. Was truly impressed they completed entire project in just under four hours. Completely and thoroughly cleaned street and work area upon completion of job. Additionally, Edwin called me back within 4 hours of my request on Angi on the weekend and came out first thing Monday to provide an estimate. "Josh evaluated the job, made suggestions, gave me a quote and proceeded to do all the earth moving and readiness for a large steel building. He oversaw all the leveling with transits, backfill and compaction, gravel fill and placement of the pavers. He suggested decorative patterns, color schemes with different block and installed all of it in a timely manner. He was professional from start to finish.
