Wonderful work, very professional, and cost competitive company. 3-years later no issues. Kevin and his team came in to put a nice flagstone staff 8x45 ft patio in next to our house to replace the grass. It was completed quickly and when there was a minor issue that cropped up within 4-months due to bad stones from the quarry, they came back to replace asap. 100% confidence and would hire again. This review is for the estimate we obtained. We called Cutting Edge Lawn and Landscape to deal with a drainage issue on the property. He was recommended on a neighborhood list serve. The owner Kevin Schmauder and his associate were very informative, helpful and good with communication. We understand Kevin is one of a small number of landscapers that has certification in drainage resolution issues. While the initial estimate looked good, it was beyond our budget. Kevin came back with a simpler plan to suit our needs. He has great ideas to enhance appearance and hide equipment redirecting the excess water. Cost is higher than other estimates we received, but we like his ideas and his willingness to work with us. We've heard he does quality work so we expect the higher cost will be well worth the results. We've signed a contract to have him do the work and will submit another review after the work has been completed.

Cutting Edge did work for me a few years ago. They did a walkway using concrete pavers, extended downspouts, and installed a catch basin. I wanted to wait a bit after the installation before I did a review - didn't mean to wait this long. The installation went great. Cutting Edge was communicative before work was started and afterward when I had questions. Right after the project was done, a few of my neighbors noted how nice the walkway looked. The walkway still looks good and is in great shape. I've also had no issues with the downspouts or catch basin.

This is the second time I have used this company. The results have been exceptional. I appreciated the care for my property, the quality of the work, and the responsiveness of both crew and management

The company responded indicating they do not provide stand alone snow removal services. I gave an overall "Excellent" score since they responded quickly to my request for a quote. However, please note no work was done.

I contacted Cutting Edge about cleaning my flagstone patio - it needed to be washed and have polymeric sand installed in the joints. The company that had previously done it for me was no longer doing residential work. Kevin was very honest with me: he said they'd be happy to do the work but that I could probably find someone to do it for less cost. He suggested I check around with other companies. But in the meantime, he immediately emailed me an estimate. I called several other landscaping companies but they all told me they did not do this type of maintenance work. So I contacted Kevin to arrange for the work. Despite all of the bad weather we'd had, they got the job done within about 2 weeks. My patio looks brand new! Overall, the company was very responsive to me, they did a fantastic job - and I appreciate their honesty about the cost. I'm very pleased with them and will definitely contact them again in the future for other landscaping work.

I reached out to Cutting Edge Lawn for advise on my lawn ... it was not doing well and I was not sure of the problem. I contacted Brian Schmauder and he was very helpful in giving me some solid technical advise on what the problems may be. He then offered to come out to meet me and take a look at the grass in person. He was very nice and helpful. Instead of offering his services and he gave me a few recommendations that he suggested I do to help the lawn improve. I appreciated him giving me honest advice and not "going for the sale". Brian was also very knowledgeable in his trade as he told me a bunch of great technical advise.

They did the work on very short notice. And even though my yard isn't very large, they were very responsive and helpful in saving some of my azaleas. The yard looks great, it was a generally wonderful experience.

Very well. On time, very professional crew. Did a great job of cleaning up my yard as well as removing all material dug up for planting.

Kevin the company owner came out to look at the walkway to give an estimate and sent a proposal a couple days later. We went back and forth with the specifics for a bit - Kevin was very open and easy to communicate with and eventually I signed-off and put down a deposit.

Less than two weeks later, John the foreman and a crew came out to remove the old concrete walkway and lay down the foundation. The next day they lay down the edgers and pavers, cleaned-up, and left me with a terrific new walkway - timely and efficient. I believe Javier was the lead when it came to putting the walkway together and I think he did a great job. As you can see from the pics, there is a fair amount of cutting and craftsmanship in putting pavers together, particularly when going around a curve. I was impressed by how tight everything was and the final result exceeded my expectations.

All the paperwork and transactions were taken care of by Jennie at the front office and Kevin. It is a tightly run, proper, smooth operation. It’s possible I might have been able to get a walkway done cheaper, but I have a feeling the results would not have been as good. Just Google pics of paver walkways and you'll see what I mean.

I may revisit this review in a year or so to see how the walkway holds up after a few seasons, but I have a feeling there won't be any problems. I highly recommend Cutting Edge Landscaping.

Great did exactly what was expected of them

They did a wonderful job and I am planning more work for the fall with them.

Did a great job. Were very professional, showed up on time for the walk through of what we wanted done, came on the day they said they would to do the work. Completed the work while i was at work but did every thing well. Came home to a job well done.

The job was done to our complete satisfaction. The salesman/designer gave us an excellent idea for the stone walkway and stairway. It has turned out to be what we exactly wanted but didn't know it beforehand! Installation was a bit sloppy. BUT the salesman and company owner appeared at our home the first business day after completion and agreed to rectify our major concerns. That bit of responsiveness alone would encourage us to use them again. We heartily recommend them1

Bob was very easy to work with. I secured 3 quotes and we got the best value from this family owned company. Their first quote came back too high and we worked together to put it into a workable budget for us. The crew was very professional and did a great job of removing unwanted plants, clearing everything out, replanting, and then manicuring. They did a great job cleaning up and took additional steps to make sure everything looked great when they left. I will call them again when we need other projects.

As agreed. The timing could be a bit earlier in the season, but they were careful not to destroy the perennials.

They did great work. We were really pleased. They built a patio for us and were very responsive. They were very detailed oriented and really cared about making the finished product as perfect as possible. I felt like their price was fair. I am really pleased with the finished product and think they did a great job.

The good: Price was great and the new patio looks amazing! The estimate was thorough and detailed. Bob (the designer) clearly knows his craft well. The patio is tight and drains well. The not so good: Communication was a little bit lacking. I understand that outdoor work is weather-dependent, but wasn't made aware of when work would start once the weather improved. Additionally, on the day work was scheduled to start, the company called that morning to let me know they were delayed again until the next day (after I had already taken time off).
