"Ive been using Terry for anything plumbing related since 2012. I've had work done to make my water heater work, then eventually replaced my water heater; he helped me set up a bidet and hand rails in my shower for my elderly mom; he’s installed my dishwasher because it needed a longer line. Currently, I have a leak in my main water line between my house and the sidewalk... and I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Terry is great with my mother and my dogs. Love him and happy to have him to call or text whenever I need him. Also, always works me in fast even with my difficult schedule. :)"

"Valley plumbing responded quickly to my request for an estimate and came the next day. Taylor, the plumber, arrived early and was friendly, polite and courteous. He took the time to explain the problem and answer my questions and provided various options to fix it. He worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I am delighted with the work that he did. I paid about what I would expect for the job that he did. I would highly recommend Taylor and Valley Plumbing."

"Wes was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem with my water heater. We went through my options and Wes educated me along the way to help me make the decision on what I should do. He even showed me what was wrong so I knew I could trust him. Iâ ve already scheduled Plumbing and Company to come back and install a new vanity sink in my bathroom. Glad to have found a plumber I can trust."

"Needed a new toilet installed. Was scheduled by another Plumbing company. They never showed up. They had many excuses as to their rescheduling but pushed the project back again. I called Neighborly Plumbing and Travis was very professional and friendly. He had us by the new toilet and scheduled the plumber Mathew to install it. Mathew came on the scheduled time, installed the toilet in less than an hour and he was on his way. So professional and very nice. Canâ t wait for something else to replace so I can call them again."

"Extremely satisfied with the quality of service provided by Monkey Wrench Plumbing. They responded quickly from the first phone call to estimate to completion of the job. They did excellent work and left the place clean when finished. I will absolutely be using them for any plumbing in the future and referring them as well. Don't waste your time or money on other plumbers or companies."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

No, your toilet tank should not empty completely when you flush. Although the water level will dip a lot after you flush, it shouldn’t be totally empty. If your tank is empty, you might have issues with your fill valve, float ball, or toilet trip lever. You should check all of your toilet parts to ensure they’re working correctly and make any necessary adjustments.

Most homeowners pay between $150 to $500 to replace their frost-free faucet. It depends on the type and the brand. For a lower-end model, you won’t pay much more than the cost to replace a standard outdoor faucet. For a higher-end model, you could end up paying twice as much. Either way, installing a new frost-free faucet can lead to long-term savings by preventing damage to frozen pipes.

If you notice water leaking down the side of the bowl or tank and you don’t notice any cracks in the porcelain, the odds are that it’s condensation. If you notice water around the base of the toilet, this points to a leak. Check for loose bolts. A sewage odor may also indicate a broken toilet flange.

Yes, a dripping faucet can increase your water bill. Leaking faucets use up more water than you’d think. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, a faucet that drips once per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons of water per year. If you have more than one dripping faucet, your water bill can increase even further.

You may not be able to prevent water spots on your black faucet, but the good news is that you can quickly wipe away water spots, fingerprints, smudges, and smears with a damp cloth. The best practice is to get in the habit of wiping the black faucet daily to prevent any mineral buildup or hard water stains.
