"Repair nonworking fountain. Very nice job by very nice folks. Showed up each time on time and left work area neat and clean. Donny Found a big jug for my fountain as mine had a crack and they delievered heavy jug to my home at no additional charge. Would recommend this company w/o reservation and having them give me a bid to repair/replace outdoor lite fixtures around yard."

"They came when they said they would, did more then they needed to do, so that everything was perfect. The company gave me written instructions on how to care for plants, trees and grass. Craig Jacobs, and his workers are excellent, and cost friendly. Also, Craig did about 3 follow- ups to make sure that all was well, and said that I could call him anytime if I felt the need. The best part? I know that he would come. He is a great person in all ways. I would not hire anyone else, I am so happy that I made the right choice."

"I had two sprinkler heads that required pvc pipe repair. They called within minutes and were out in a couple of hours. Finished the job in 30 mins or so including discussing with me what was needed. Repair man was professional like the call manager. Highly recommend"

"Was told to call this company from a plumber as plumbers do not do work with spa tubs. He showed up and did the inspection and determined the leaks were not spa related but plumbing related. Thus we paid him and had to hire a plumber to fix the issue. This is a very specialized company that fixes pumps and tubing on spas and spa tubs. Make sure you know what your problem is before calling them out or they will not be much help."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

One reason you may want to fill in your pond is the cost of maintenance. Pond cleaning may cost about $1,000 for an annual cleanup, or monthly visits may cost $75 to $100 per visit. If you don’t want to spend that much per year on pond upkeep, you may consider filling in your pond.

Pond installation costs typically range from $1,500 to $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the pond's size, the materials used, excavation requirements, and any additional features such as waterfalls, lighting, or specialized habitats for fish like koi.

You can choose several types of fountains to add to your backyard, ranging in size, number of basins, and special water features.

Check out the price ranges of common fountain types:

  • Birdbath fountains: $40 to $1,100

  • Cascading fountains: $40 to $2,000

  • Tiered fountains: $100 to $6,000

  • Kugel fountains: $150 to $5,000

  • Glass wall fountains: $100 to $3,000

Like pools, ponds can be a safety risk, so they may increase your homeowners insurance. Be sure to let your insurance company know if you build a pond on your property—they may have safety requirements in order to keep your premium from increasing.

A good rule of thumb is to change 5% to 15% of your koi pon’s water every week. Partial water changes help keep your koi healthy, and replacing small amounts at a time prevents causing stress for the fish.
