Spa Inspectors, LLC.

Was told to call this company from a plumber as plumbers do not do work with spa tubs. He showed up and did the inspection and determined the leaks were not spa related but plumbing related. Thus we paid him and had to hire a plumber to fix the issue. This is a very specialized company that fixes pumps and tubing on spas and spa tubs. Make sure you know what your problem is before calling them out or they will not be much help.

Called to inquire about getting a spa/pool heater installed for an existing pool in a house we just bought. They said they preferred to send a technician so I made an appointment. Carl showed up on time, did a thorough job of explaining my options and handed me a quote on the spot. Over the next several weeks I contacted other pool companies to get quotes but was surprised by the apathy and/or poor service (see my first review on Angie's list) We made the decision to go with Spa Inspectors and I have to say they show up when they say their going to show up and they do their job with pride and professionalism! I will do business with them again!

Terrible, waste of time and aggravation.

.They are medioker. They did an ok job.

I chose the spa, the color, my cabinet color, my cover color and my design for the deck. We set a date of three weeks later for the installation. They called to remind me and make sure the time still worked for me. It took two days. On the first day, they concreted posts and started the frame. On day two, they completed the deck and installed my hot tub. They gave me a walk through and helped me program it based on my needs. I was shown how to use the chemicals too. I've called with one with programming question about a week later, as I wanted to change my second filtration cycle. They were able to help me over the phone. Overall, Its been a great experience.

Carl was efficient and knew his stuff.  This was a warranty issue, and the new heater was ordered. There were some scheduling conflicts from Spa Inspector, but as it was April and we didn't need the heater, we were flexible to when they could come out and connect it. All the old bits were removed and the new one installed wonderfully.  We were home when he installed it, but that was fine - its an easy machine to learn. All communication and calls with the company were courteous and we'll use them again if we ever need pool equipment assistance.

It went very smoothly. I would use them again.

Instead of replacing the motor, which would have been more expensive, they simply repaired it. The entire job start to finish took about four days. They explained everything, were very professional and called before coming back.

THE COMPANY SENT 2 SERVICEMEN ON 6-29-05. THE SPA WAS CLEANED. I WAS TOD THAT I WOULD NEED A REPLACEMENT AIR BUTTON FOR $400.00. PLUS A NEW FUNCTION SWITH FOR $89.00. AN ALTERNATIVE PRICE WAS OFFERED AT $25.00 DOR A HANDHELD AIR BUTTON. I AGREED TO THE LATTER TWO FEES.10 DAYS LATER, THE BLOWERE STOPPED WORKING. I CALLED TOM (MANAGER) AND HE SENT ONE SERVICEMAN BACK WHO THEN TOLD ME EVERYTHING STOPPED WORKING INCLUDING THE SPA LIGHT BECAUSE THE SPA IS OLD. TO REPAIR IT WILL COST THE $400. PLUS NEEDED ELECTRICAL WORK. I CALLED A 2ND POOL COMPANY WHO ASSESSED THE PROBLEM AND IMMEDIATELY REPAIRED THE BLOWER FOR $50.00. THE 2ND COMPANY SAID 'THE REASON YOUR LIGHT IS OUT IS BECAUSE YOUR RESET BUTTON WAS ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED OFF, NOTHING MORE''. I WAS SO DISTURBED SPA INSPECTORS TOOK ME FOR A RIDE. I WILL NEVER CALL THEM OUT AGAIN. I WAS OVERCHARGED AND THEY TRIED TO SET ME UP FOR A FAILING SYSTEM TO GET MORE MONEY.

I USED THEN BEFORE AND ASKED FOR THE SAME SERVICEMAN. IT SEEMS LIKE THIS COMPANY HAS A 2 TIER SYSTEM. SOME OF THE SERVICEMEN ARE COMMISSIONED SALESPEOPLE AND SOME ARE SALARIED. THE SERVICEMAN WE HIRED IS SALARIED AND DOESN'T NEED TO SELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET PAID. I SUGGEST ASKING FOR THAT SERVICEMAN OR ANOTHER SALARIED PERSON FOR THE BEST PRICE AND SERVICE.
