"RT Construction did an excellent job. My house flooded and the whole downstairs had to be remodeled. RT construction stayed in communication with me regarding what was being done and when each step would be completed. The workers showed professionalism the whole time. I was very very please with the result. The house looked new and the remodel looked better than what the original builder did. Mr. Turner always followed up to make sure everything was going well. I would 100% recommend RT Construction to anyone. It was the quality of the work that pleased me a lot. Great company and great owner."

"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Well done on various projects, from MBR bathroom update to various handyman projects, Daniel has always provided courteous, professional service. Will hire him again."
Interested in warming up the aesthetic in your living spaces? We build fireplaces and install gas logs too!
Need some concrete? We do that too! The original sidewalk was broken in many places and gave the house a less than desirable curb appeal as well as being unsafe. We went back with this creative, beautifully finished concrete pattern and the homeowner eventually planted grass that went between each concrete block.(You could also add rock in between the sections if you'd prefer, and yes, we do that too!) Increased curb appeal and provided a stunning aesthetic to the exterior of his home!
Custom curdles shower, sliding glass door with black hardware, wood look tile planks that carry on seamlessly from bathroom floor into shower, heated towel holder, new toilet, additional storage built into the wall! Very clean look!
We demoed this kitchen down to the studs and concrete and came back with this outstanding finished product! The beam in the upper left of picture is cased in White Oak, custom cabinets, hardware, new lighting, countertops, island also built out of white oak (separate picture on this page), built-in microwave in island, and more!
This house was stripped down to the studs and concrete. We went back with french oak flooring, custom cabinetry, beautiful crown moulding, new fire place, brick work, THE WORKS!! Gorgeous finished product!

Home Building questions, answered by experts

The average cost to build a modular home is around $270,000, and most modular homes total between $180,000 and $360,000. Of course, this price varies significantly by location, and the price tends to follow the cost of living in the area. There are quite a few other factors at play that can affect your pricing, including the following:

  • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms

  • Site preparation, including land clearing and leveling

  • Type of foundation

  • Utility connections

  • Cost of building permits

Modular homes can be a great investment, especially for those who find the prices of stick-built real estate too high. Modular homes are usually much more affordable because they’re mass-manufactured and then assembled on-site or delivered mostly assembled. If they’re installed properly and by professionals, they can last for between 50 and 100 years, potentially making them an outstanding investment.

Custom homes can take an average of 18 months to build, mainly due to the lengthy design process, and most projects take somewhere between 12 and 24 months. When you work with the right custom home builders near you, they can help you map the road ahead and understand what can speed up or delay the timeline. Choosing locally available materials, for example, can speed things up without losing that customized touch.

The average cost to renovate or remodel a home is $52,300, with most projects ranging from $19,500 to over $88,400. However, costs can vary significantly, from as low as $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 or more for a complete home remodel.

Several factors influence the total price, including:

  • Project Scope and Size: The extent of the renovations, whether it's a single room or the entire house.

  • Location: Geographic location affects labor and material costs.

  • Materials: The quality of materials chosen.

  • Room Type: Kitchen remodels ($14,500 - $70,000+) are generally more expensive than bedroom remodels ($1,500 - $5,500).

  • Other Factors: The time of year, complexity of the work, and any additions or expansions.

On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $15 and $60 for standard projects and up to $150 for luxury renovations.

Examples of specific project costs include:

  • Basement remodel: ~$20,200

  • Garage remodel: ~$27,900

  • Loft conversion: ~$20,200

  • Disability accommodation remodel: ~$4,300

  • Major home repairs: ~$11,700

If you are financing the project, note that some loan programs, like the FHA 203(k), may require a minimum project cost (e.g., $5,000) and will necessitate a home appraisal and professional cost estimates. Using a home renovation cost estimator can also help you budget for your project.

The most significant expense when building a barndominium is constructing the metal shell, which includes the roof, doors, and windows. Additional exterior components impacting the overall cost include metal siding and the concrete foundation.
