"They scheduler was friendly and competent, the rep showed up as scheduled, was in and out of the house within an hour. The scheduler said the $77 service fee would be waived and a price quote given after examining the job. The price quote was $227 to clean the bathtub drain and I interpreted that as a $77 service fee and $150 drain cleaning feel I was comfortable paying the service portion but thought the drain fee was high for the time and labor involved. However, the tub is still draining."

"Brandon fixed a drain that was making a water hammer/thumping sound. We were able to trouble shoot on the phone and agree to a reasonable estimate. He then arrived on time and assessed the situation and made a recommendation. He was able to honor the estimated price and fixed everything really well. I was impressed with how up front and easy it was to work with him. He did a great job and I will definitely call him again!"

Customers say: Quality work

"This company is awesome! I had my foundation repaired so I needed a plumber to come out and make sure I had no breaks in my sewer line. Tom sent Greg a very nice and professional gentlemen showed me with a camera that my lines had no breaks then cleaned out a drain line caused by A/C slug without breaking the bank like most plumbing companies. I have finally found a plumbing company for life."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, installing or replacing a storm door is a manageable DIY project, especially for those with experience replacing regular doors. Many modern storm doors feature simple, pre-hung designs and come with the necessary hardware, making installation more convenient. With basic tools, a DIY installation is possible, though professional services can ensure proper alignment and weatherproofing. On average, installing a pre-hung storm door takes about four hours.

There are several types of storm doors, including vinyl-clad, steel-clad, aluminum, and wood-core, and each type has its own benefits. For example, vinyl-clad storm doors are excellent at keeping out water, while steel-clad storm doors hold up well against high winds. There are also multiple styles of storm doors, ranging from full-view (made entirely of glass) to high-view (with just a small glass panel).

Each has its use, depending on the scenario. Security doors are primarily intended to keep people out of the home, while storm doors are used to protect the home from extreme weather. Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. Storm doors can feature mesh screens, just like screen doors, to allow for increased ventilation and to keep out pests. Security doors rarely, if ever, have mesh screens.

Depending on your design preferences, the storm door can match either the front door or the trim. If you want the storm door to blend into the frame, you can choose a storm door that matches your home’s trim. If you want to draw attention to the front door, choose a storm door that matches your front door.

A screen door needs at least two hinges, though most have three or four hinges. The amount of hinges depends on the weight and size of the door. The heavier your door, the more hinges it will need for support. Exterior doors, which are sturdier than interior doors, have the most hinges.
