Customers say: Quality work

"This company is awesome! I had my foundation repaired so I needed a plumber to come out and make sure I had no breaks in my sewer line. Tom sent Greg a very nice and professional gentlemen showed me with a camera that my lines had no breaks then cleaned out a drain line caused by A/C slug without breaking the bank like most plumbing companies. I have finally found a plumbing company for life."

"I had a pipe burst in 3 locations that had flooded my entire house during the ice storm in Texas in February 2021. A quick fix was put in by a neighbor, but started slowly leaking a drip a second into my kitchen a week later. My repair contractor finally let me know that they didn't do plumbing, so I texted multiple plumbers for help, and Longs Plumbing was quick to respond, squeezing me into his schedule. He promised to arrive by 7:00 on Tuesday 2 days away. He made it to my house before noon. The contractor had left a 7 foot by 11 foot hole in my ceiling, covered with plastic. It was a dangerous repair, because of the fall risk. Joel got on a ladder and carefully removed a portion of the plastic that enabled him to squeeze into the attic. The attic area was tight but he was able to squeeze in and install a new 10 foot piece for a permanent fix. He then taped and re-stapled the plastic in place, for the contractor to EVENTUALLY remove and replace my ceiling. The whole process took him less than an hour. The cost for his time plus material was less than I expected, so I paid a little more ... I was impressed with every single step that he took"

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Installation begins with removing existing doors if necessary, measuring, and accurately fitting the storm door frame and panel for a tight seal.

You can install a storm door on almost any door. Storm doors are designed to fit single exterior door frames. Whether a specific door fits into an existing frame depends on the frame's size and configuration. Patio and sliding doors are exceptions, as some aren’t designed to accommodate storm doors. A local door installer may be able to modify a frame to fit a storm door.

The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.

You can determine what size storm door you need by measuring for the storm door. Take the width at the top, middle, and bottom of either your front door or an existing storm door, then measure the height on the left, center, and right of the door. Buy a storm door that matches your measurements' smallest width and shortest height.

Each has its use, depending on the scenario. Security doors are primarily intended to keep people out of the home, while storm doors are used to protect the home from extreme weather. Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. Storm doors can feature mesh screens, just like screen doors, to allow for increased ventilation and to keep out pests. Security doors rarely, if ever, have mesh screens.
