"I had a fantastic experience with mosaic roofing company from start to finish. Their team was professional, punctual and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain every step of the process and make sure I felt comfortable with the decisions being made. The quality of workmanship was outstanding. My new roof not only looks great, but has already proven to be reliable. The crew was respectful of my property cleaned up thoroughly after the job and complete the project on time and within budget. "The whole experience was good. The warranty is exceptional The customer service was nice and the guys that actually installed the roof were hard workers. There are only two issues I had. One, the initial consultation lasted 7 hours. Between discussions about the roof to the actual roof inspection. Second. The Forman on the job barely spoke English. There was a gap that had to be overcame for understanding my questions I had. Towards the end, he offered to call someone to translate but that, I felt, was too little to late. But like I stated earlier, the group as a whole worked very hard and the roof looks great."

I’m a third-generation contractor who grew up around roofing and construction. That background taught me to take pride in doing the job right and treating people fairly. Our work in the Frisco and Dallas–Fort Worth area is built on the same values I was raised with—honesty, quality workmanship, and standing behind what we do.

"I hired Veritas Roofing for a new roof, new gutters, and painting of gutters. William was the lead supervisor that I communicated with throughout the project. William was polite, extremely professional, and responsive to my questions. William always kept me updated with every aspect of the job. There was another supervisor, in addition to William, during the roofing job who was great too. William coordinated my new gutters and paint job with the same attention to detail as my new roof. The supervisors and crew did excellent work. I highly recommend Veritas Roofing."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

You should hire a roofing professional to install a metal roof, as it’s an essential part of your home and a difficult installation. Your roof provides the most protection for your home among all of the building materials, and any mistakes made during the installation process can quickly lead to roof leaks, water damage, and significant repair costs. A roofing professional will ensure your new roof is installed properly and according to building code to minimize that risk, and they will usually back the installation and materials with a roof warranty for added peace of mind.

While you can stay at home during a roof replacement, you probably won’t want to, as it’ll be very noisy. The area around your home will also be messy, as roofers will be discarding old roof material and storing their equipment on the ground.

Underlayment is required by building code, so any roof installed without it is technically against code. The underlayment acts as the second layer of defense against water, so installing a roof without underlayment means a much higher risk of roof leaks. You’ll have the best chance of avoiding roof leaks if you install drip edge flashing covered by underlayment, and then install your roofing material over that.

Yes, replacing a roof is always a good investment if the current one is in poor condition. Not only will it preserve the structural integrity of the home, but it can also add value at the time of sale. The average return on investment for a new roof is between 48% and 61%. Prospective buyers are also more likely to purchase a home with a recently replaced roof since that means they won’t need to worry about that expense in the near future.

Fall is generally considered the best time of year for roof repairs. The weather is temperate and typically drier, which makes for safer working conditions and fewer delays. The days are also still long enough to complete the work.

Spring is another good option and is a popular time for repairs to fix damage from winter storms. However, frequent rainfall can slow down progress. Spring may be a less busy season for roofers than fall.

Summer can also work for roof repairs, but extreme heat can make asphalt shingles too soft and difficult to work with.
