"This is a very professional company. Everyone I spoke with were very helpful and quick with answers. My house is very old and the city required it to be decked over the 1x12 shiplap boards. The estimator dealt with the city and my insurance and was very quick on answers. The work was excellent and some boards were replaced that I thought I would have to do. I would recommend this company to all. If I need another roof due to weather, I'll call Lon Smith roofing. I had first called another roofing company that was advertised on the radio. I was not impressed with that company but knew I wanted to go with Lon Smith after calling them."

"Hilltop Roofing delivers A , 5-star service with skill and caring. Cahill Hooker, the owner/manager, personally attended to all the details of planning, executing, evaluating the job. He was onsite throughout the process, supervising and encouraging numerous contractors: plumbers/pipefitters, carpenters, painters, roofers, raingutter specialists, etc. He worked closely with us to schedule the work promptly, order (and re-order, when necessary) the exactly right supplies, complete the work efficiently and excellently, and then send me a detailed, illustrated report of exactly what was done. I could not be happier with the services rendered by Hilltop Roofing and Construction under Cahill's knowledgeable, honest, energetic leadership. Thank you!! Jacqueline Maki Irving, Texas"

Typical roofing repairs cost between $380 and $1,800 on average. However, most homeowners spend approximately $1,100 on a roofing repair project. The size of the roof, the extent of the damage, and the type of project all impact the final cost. External factors like product availability and supply chain issues may also affect the price.
Projects like repairing damaged gutters will only be around $180 to $560, whereas repairing a sagging roof will be a higher expense at $1,500 to $7,000.
Roofing is a highly skilled and labor-intensive trade. Because of this, you can expect to pay an average of $2 per square foot for your roofing professional. Roofing labor costs generally make up about 60% of the overall project cost.
The cost to replace your roof is often significantly more expensive than the cost to repair it. On average, homeowners will spend between $5,890 and $12,800 to replace a roof. The size of the roof, the roof’s pitch, and the number of stories the house has will significantly affect the overall cost. You can expect to spend upwards of $46,000 for large, high-end roofs.
Yes, most states require roofers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed roofer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
