I had requested my fireplace be done, but David explained to me that my gas unit did not require this. I appreciated his honesty and not charging me for something I didn't need, when he easily could have taken advantage of my lack of knowledge. I was very pleased with the service and found the price point reasonable. I would highly recommend."

"We were in the stage of purchase where we delivered a sink to site (11th June) so they could make the correct cuts for a quartz countertop install. The sink was inspected on site by Amy while I was there (my wife and I had inspected it prior to delivering it as well), a 70% payment made for the countertop, and a date for install was set 13 days later. On the day of installation my wife received a call saying the sink had broken and asked what we would like to do. She stated she would call them back after speaking with me. Before we had the chance to call back we received a text message saying they were working on a solution for the sink and to stand by. They then sent an image and link to a sink of similar design and color. We clarified that it was the same color and undermount and then said that we it was fine and we appreciated them finding a solution. The countertop was installed after some unclear back and forth.We were told either around or after the expected arrival time that we would not be able to have it installed that day because they were too far behind schedule. Later that evening (after 6 if I'm not mistaken) the crew showed up to install. They did a fine job. We received an invoice for the remaining 30% of the countertops and surprisingly, also the cost of the replacement sink. Which would mean that we paid for our own sink that they broke AND the replacement sink that they delivered. A text said that we should work on getting a refund for our original sink...the issue being that the sink does not have proper grounds for a refund because it was not broken upon arrival. We paid the remaining amount for the countertops which is what we had originally agreed to. We are now getting phone calls, texts, and emails from Michelle saying it was not inspected that day (11th June) despite me checking the sink and watching Amy inspect it on site. Austin Granite Direct had the sink in their possession for 13 more days prior to being told it became broken. It remained in their possession because the fabricators needed to have the sink for the cuts. Despite paying the best part of $6k to Austin Granite Direct (everything we originally agreed to) they want more money from me to pay for a sink they broke. Michelle also wants to add late fees for the sink. We were pleasant and patient when we were told that the sink had become broken, and again when we were told that installation couldn't happen that day, and again when the installation crew unexpectedly arrived into our evening. I can't help but feel that this is a bit of a scam to get more money from us since we didn't originally purchase a sink from them."

They come in, do the work efficiently - each person on the crew knows exactly what they are doing and how to do it - and when they leave, the only way to tell they were there is because of perfectly done end product. During the removal, any additional decking that needed replacing was done without question or negotiation. The crew was professional, timely and thorough during their execution. Ryan, the production manager, checked with me throughout the process, explaining each step from start to finish. Ryan wanted me to understand, witness and approve any deviations found along the way. "I am HURT and appalled at the experience that my husband had at this establishment today. We live in Georgetown and for years have made the trip to purchase pellets from this establishment in the effort to support an independently owned business. We have purchased 3 smokers from them and have referred 2 friends who have purchased a smoker each. Today my husband made the 50 mile round trip journey to the store to ask about an issue with the ignition switch and upon arrival, realized that he had forgotten to bring a mask. He opened the door and attempted to ask David if he would charge him for 4 bags of pellets. He did NOT enter the store, nor would he have. He was rudely informed that he should've called first. My husband tried to tell him that he has recently had brain surgery (scars of which are evident and obvious) and has been rendered 100% deaf in one ear and has only 20% hearing remaining in the other ear rendering conversation via phone IMPOSSIBLE. I am angry and heartbroken at the HUMILIATION and RUDENESS that was heaped upon him. Buyers BEWARE- this establishment extends no help to HANDICAPPED!!!! Veterans should shop elsewhere. Do yourself a favor, shop where your business is appreciated and you are treated like a human instead of a petri dish!!!!"
