Good News Roofing is a company who has earned their 5 star reviews based on professionalism, honesty, excellent work ethics whose employees take pride in their work. Our project Mgr. Brook Vallejo went above and beyond our expectations. She was readily available and was extremely conscientious of her work. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional but most of all a wonderful and sincere individual. She and her team of installers came and were on time and did a great job. No mess left just a gorgeous new roof. We highly recommend this company and Brook Vallejo and her team.

As a homeowner it is always a challenge when it comes to filing an insurance claim. More times than not it means researching your policy to understand what your policy covers and even learning insurance terminology that we don’t necessarily hear every day. I experienced roof damage recently and rather than “patch” the damaged areas (as I had done in the past) I could see it was time to replace the roof completely. I contacted two roofers and as I expected I received two quotes for the same scope of work but with very different pricing. In short, I contacted “Good News Roofing” (Brook Vallejo). As a homeowner I expect a few things from contractors doing work for me; (1) Plain conversation (because I’m not a roofer) (2) Selection and (3) Personal commitment to see the job through to satisfactory completion. I fulfilled my insurance policy obligation and today have a beautiful, leak free, new green shingled roof (that’s what I wanted and that’s what I got). Good News Roofing was fair in their pricing, detailed in their explanation of the scope of work, stayed in contact with my claim specialist, delivered on time and completed on time. This roofing company is locally owned, dispatches friendly and knowledgeable crew members, performed a complete walk around when completed and moved their equipment and vehicles without any disruption to myself or neighbors. I strongly recommend “Good News Roofing” and that you take the time to discuss your roofing needs with Brook. She has demonstrated the things I look for in a contractor/builder. She had my trust as a homeowner soon after we had discussed my roofing needs.

Steve responded immediately, looked at the roof and our insurance estimate. We agreed upon a price and set the date. He and his crew were there when they said they would be and completed the work when he said they would. Very professional. I would definitely recommend Good New Roofing for all roofing needs.

Great! Steven is friendly and knowledgeable, he guided us through the whole process including the insurance. The crew was prompt and courteous, worked 12+ hours/day, finished our multi-level roof in 2 days. The cleanup was thorough, they even left my porch cleaner and neater than when they started. We have had several rains blow through in the last few days since the roof was replaced, checked for leaks in the attic, all is good. We highly recommend Goodd News Roofing

Very well. Steve Burnham is a stand-up, professional, moral person. He was extremely responsive and answered every one of my calls by the next day. When he said he'd do something, he did it. When he said when it would be started or completed, he started it and completed it when he said he would. This is really impressive to me because most people I know who are also getting roof repairs done in this area had horror stories about the timeliness of the various other companies they dealt with and the broken promises of those other company salesmen/owners. Steve's work crew was awesome and respectful while on the job here and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Their work was excellent. I have not had any problems with the roof since they repaired it Good News was not the cheapest roofer (but they were still on the lower end of the spectrum) , but they are more than worth the difference!

The road to finding the right company to replace a roof is long and can be a challenge. We interviewed at least 8 companies. All had the pitch, most sounded legit. After the exhaustive list of roofers had visited our home, we choose Good News Roofing in Georgetown. The primary reason was a strong feeling of trust not only that Brady Keene, owner, and his team would do what they claimed but as important, they would be there after the install for any follow up issues. Many companies make the pitch. Good News was the one I believed. The company we trusted.
Good News is a Texas-based, family owned and operated company that understands the competitive nature of the business as well as what it means to go the extra mile to make the engagement a success for both parties. The onsite team was courteous and on time each day working until dark. They were respectful of the property and cleaned up extremely well. Honestly, I could not even tell they had been here after the work was completed. The job was not an easy one but completed in just a little over two days. Post completion, Brady personally spent a couple hours reviewing the work. The work was first class and the roof looks great.
Could not be happier with our choice. Cannot recommend Good News Roofing enough.

I contacted Good News Roofing for a free estimate on the roof inspection. We noticed some shingles laying on the ground in backyard after the rain storm and wanted to make sure our roof was OK.
The inspection revealed no damage on the roof, no missing shingles, no problems at all. They did recommend trimming trees away but there was nothing to fix. Some minor damage tree-caused was noted (they took pictures so we could review them) but nobody tried to persuade us to fix anything.

Awesome service. Prompt, courtous, honest.
The owner came out and explained what he would do. Durring inspection took pictures so he could show us the condition of hte roof. Said our roof was in great shape and no work needed. Also, based on current roof condition he gave an estimate of our remaining roof life based on normal wear and tare.

On a Sunday night, my wife and I noticed a big bubble in the latex paint on our sunroom wall. We knew pretty much right away that this meant we had a leak, so I found Good News Roofing through AL and emailed right away. Brady contacted us first thing Monday morning, and arranged an appointment for Wednesday. He gave us a two-hour window, called before he came, and was right on time. He took a look at our roof and told us that there were a few nails that had worked their way out, and they needed to be secured and caulked. The roof itself was in decent condition, he said, and we didn't need to replace it now. But he did tell us that in a few years time, replacement would be necessary.
Brady graciously secured and caulked the nails causing the leak, and provided us with an estimate for future replacement. After this morning's downpour, I can tell you that the work Brady did for us worked. No bubbling paint. No leak. Thanks to Brady for being so quick to respond, and honest with us about what work needed (and didn't need) to be done. When it comes time for us to get any roof work done, Brady will be our first call.

After this morning's downpour, I can tell you that the work Brady did for us worked. No bubbling paint. No leak. "This is important, please read We installed a roof as promised for [Member name removed]. The drip edge for the customer showed up and was the wrong color, and the customer told us it was satisfactory to him and he was happy. After we finished the roof, days later, we got a call to replace the drip edge. We told [Member name removed] that he had approved the color and he told us he wanted it replaced. So as a company trying to keep the customer happy. We replaced it free of charge. We informed him that we were very busy so it would be a couple weeks before we could do the replacement, but we would do the replacement for him to keep him as a satisfied customer. Then when we went to collect the final check, he wanted a credit for the paint work he did on the original edge that we had just tore off. It took us Awhile to collect the final check and we always did the right thing. I do not feel this is an accurate review of the job we did. As you can see by our track record, we keep folks happy!"

Brady came out and inspected our roof and trim. He was very prompt in responding to our request. Because of his honesty (we expected a big problem) we are not looking at replacing it any time soon. He explained the problem and some spots of minor damage. We will be aware of what to watch for in the future. Although we are not facing the expense of a new roof now, we MOST DEFINITELY will call him when that time comes. He has also recommended someone to replace damaged trim around the roof. I highly recommend calling him.
