After a faulty foundation was ruled out, Mason discovered that the backyard trees had pushed on the earth and created slopes, so a drainage system was suggested and that's what we ended up installing. I thought that at the very least the system would look unsightly and out of place, but the skillful construction made it appear that the drainage system has been there since the beginning.
