"I hired Moises Pizana Hardscapes to replace a rotting railroad tie retaining wall near my house. They responded very quickly to my inquiry, and the owner came out the next morning to look at the worksite and give me a bid. He clearly was experienced and knowledgeable, and even suggested a couple of ways that they could do a better job than I had envisioned. Knowing that there would be a few things that might slow the project up (tree roots, and because we live on a limestone cliff with very shallow soil in places, they might need to dig down into the limestone to create a stable base for the two retaining walls), he gave me a bid of 2½ to 3 days. The work crew began work at 7:30 the next morning.
