"I chose this Pro contractor based on reviews, scheduling flexibility and price. We had Craig and his team replaster our pool with mini Pebble plaster and new spotter tiles. I was very pleased with how quick and professionally everything was done. I appreciated the fact that Craig's team was friendly and very respectful of our property. Craig is very personable, professional and a joy to work with. He was readily available to answer any of our questions and/or concerns. He stepped us through every step of the way. Craig's knowledge of everything pool related was invaluable. And his "pool maintenance school" was also very helpful. We feel very confident with relying on Craig and his extensive expertise. I would highly recommend hiring Natural Water Environments for any pool related project."

"Angel, Romer and team are just great. Of course, they keep my pool sparking but where they really shine is when I have a repair, maintenance or worse, emergency repair. They do all they can to get the pool up and running as quickly as possible. I appreciate both their professionalism and friendliness. Hire these guys if you need pool service!"

"Mark made this project very easy. He gave us a very reasonable bid to replaster our old pool with a Stonescapes mini-pebble finish, replacing and resetting the flagstone coping, and replacing the tile. All work was done on time and very professionally, cleaning up after each days work. Mark was responsive and communicated in a timely way with us during the project. We also appreciated the week of start-up pool service after filling. We would definitely use them again."

"Had the following done to my pool: Replace all coping with flagstone, replace pool tile, replace ring and cover over the skimmers, replace old light with new LED light. After all the bids, we chose Juan because he was friendly and took time to ask us questions about what we wanted. Juan provided good feedback which helped us tailor our decisions and was very helpful in explaining how the whole process worked. The more questions we asked the more helpful the answers. We visited Juan’s showroom, looked over samples from several different vendors and his stone layouts which led us to even better decisions. My wife was very particular about grout color for the stone so we opted to pick something from Lowes and Juan let us know how much we needed. Juan’s team did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. We are extremely excited about how the “new” pool looks and will call Juan when we are ready to re-plaster. BTW. We have already told our close friends about J&M!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

If you can’t find any records online, you’ll need to contact your county clerk’s office to do further research. They should have property records on file, or can at least point you in the right direction of who to contact. You can also speak with your neighbors about when their houses were built because they were likely built around the same time.

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

Depending on the type of land survey, the report will mark the boundaries of your property, the topographical changes of the landscape, as well as major natural and added structures to the plot. A more detailed survey, like an as-built survey, will note the measurements of the structures and landscape following major construction. A topographic survey will also help your contractor determine the cost of land development projects.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.
