"It is worst company. Technical came to my house and without analysis issue and proper listening he said you need to replace appliances. They wright wrong information in note so my warranty company didn?t pay money and I have to pay service fee without working. There is employee particulars working like this for certain communities people and try to waste money. Same appliances repair by (Removed Company name) appliance company without replacing any parts "

"AAC is not just a family business, it's the family! They contacted me right away after my search on Angi to set up an appointment. Joe (the son) came out the next day and knew exactly what was wrong with our "vintage" 6-burner Viking cooktop (4 of the burners would not ignite). He ordered the parts and came back with his father, Don (the co-owner with his brother), and they fixed it. Since we moved into the house 15 years ago, 2 of the burners never ignited and a previous repairman had no idea what was wrong. Joe is super knowledgeable about various kitchen appliances, having worked for several different companies over the years. He was nice, helpful and professional. "UPDATE - While there were issues with the repairs to the oven, the owner of the company called me personally to express his sincere regret for having any problems and assure me that excellent customer service is very important to the company. He ensured that the work was done to my satisfaction, refunded any money previously paid and offered a free inspection in the future should I need assistance. At the end of the day, things happen in life, and the true character of a person or company is how you deal with these challenges. I can honestly and sincerely state that Uptown Appliance Repairs stands by its service and I will gladly contact them in the future for any appliance needs. Summary of service on Sears Kenmore Oven/Microwave Combo: 1. 03-January - Initial service call to determine issue with oven/microwave combo wall unit 2. 09-January - Initial quote of $1,063.02 for Main Control Board 3. 10-January - Approved quote and paid deposit of $600.00 4. 22-January - Service to install Main Control Board. Technician advised that initial diagnosis was wrong. The Cooling Fan Assembly needs to be changed. 5. 31-January - Received revised quote - $1,080.34. The part is $608.00, though Sears Parts Direct provided a parts quote of $137.20. Nicole of Uptown stated that the 343% markup is to cover warranty, expedited shipping and that Uptown only buys OEM parts from the manufacturer. 6. 12-February - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to state that the part was broken and would have to reorder. 7. 22-February - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to cancel, stating that it takes two people to replace the parts. 8. 15-March - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to state that part is broken and would have to reorder. 9. 20-March – Call received from Uptown, stating that parts have been received and service needs to be set. I instructed Uptown to contact tenants. 10. 26-March - Appointment to install parts, after 5:30pm 11. 26-March - Company owner calls, stating that Uptown does not work after 5:30pm. Implies that delays are due to tenants not being responsive or available during working hours. He stated that, if the tenants cannot be available during working hours, he will refund the deposit of $600.00. I told him that I did not want the refund, I wanted the appliance repaired. 12. Appointment set for 29-March between 08:00 and 10:00 13. 29-March - Parts installed, unit working normally 14. 29-March - Invoice for services received IMMEDIATELY upon completion – AMAZING how quickly Uptown can submit an invoice, when their services took THREE MONTHS to complete!!!"
