UPDATE - While there were issues with the repairs to the oven, the owner of the company called me personally to express his sincere regret for having any problems and assure me that excellent customer service is very important to the company. He ensured that the work was done to my satisfaction, refunded any money previously paid and offered a free inspection in the future should I need assistance. At the end of the day, things happen in life, and the true character of a person or company is how you deal with these challenges. I can honestly and sincerely state that Uptown Appliance Repairs stands by its service and I will gladly contact them in the future for any appliance needs. Summary of service on Sears Kenmore Oven/Microwave Combo: 1. 03-January - Initial service call to determine issue with oven/microwave combo wall unit 2. 09-January - Initial quote of $1,063.02 for Main Control Board 3. 10-January - Approved quote and paid deposit of $600.00 4. 22-January - Service to install Main Control Board. Technician advised that initial diagnosis was wrong. The Cooling Fan Assembly needs to be changed. 5. 31-January - Received revised quote - $1,080.34. The part is $608.00, though Sears Parts Direct provided a parts quote of $137.20. Nicole of Uptown stated that the 343% markup is to cover warranty, expedited shipping and that Uptown only buys OEM parts from the manufacturer. 6. 12-February - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to state that the part was broken and would have to reorder. 7. 22-February - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to cancel, stating that it takes two people to replace the parts. 8. 15-March - Service to install new Cooling Fan Assembly. Technician called to state that part is broken and would have to reorder. 9. 20-March – Call received from Uptown, stating that parts have been received and service needs to be set. I instructed Uptown to contact tenants. 10. 26-March - Appointment to install parts, after 5:30pm 11. 26-March - Company owner calls, stating that Uptown does not work after 5:30pm. Implies that delays are due to tenants not being responsive or available during working hours. He stated that, if the tenants cannot be available during working hours, he will refund the deposit of $600.00. I told him that I did not want the refund, I wanted the appliance repaired. 12. Appointment set for 29-March between 08:00 and 10:00 13. 29-March - Parts installed, unit working normally 14. 29-March - Invoice for services received IMMEDIATELY upon completion – AMAZING how quickly Uptown can submit an invoice, when their services took THREE MONTHS to complete!!!

Anthony was great, he was friendly, efficient and safety conscious which was important since he was working on my gas stove. Overall the repair was quick and efficient. Will definitely go to them again.

Technician George from Uptown Appliance Repair fixed our Bosch dishwasher. He was knowledgeable and curtious.

The appointment was scheduled quickly. They arrived on time and they provided advice and an estimate the same day. Great service. Have used them before and will use again.

Absolutely wonderful. The part came in early the tech Anthony and Pat could not have been nicer. I think this is the third time we have used Uptown. I highly recommend them 100 %.

The service technician, Oscar, was onetime and very competent. He quickly diagnosed the problems and offered solutions for us to consider. There was good followup from the office later. I highly recommend.

Great. David arrived on time was courteous and professional. I showed him the issue and he went straight to work diagnosing and remedying the problem quickly. I was very pleased and impressed with their service. I certainly recommend them highly and will call them again when I have appliance issues.

I have had several repairs done on different appliances. The technicians have all been professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. They even offer to do maintenance work on other appliances while they are in your home. Great work!! I will continue to call Uptown Appliances for my repairs and routine maintenance.

They didn't give up! Carlos was the technician and he was wonderful, so respectful, punctual and fixed my 30+ year old Maytag washer. You can't go wrong with this team. Don't stress, call Uptown Appliance.

Just an amazing company. We will always call Uptown Appliance. They came out and did everything they could to save our very old washer. They ordered new parts and did their best. They were courteous and polite throughout. In the end we had to get a new washer. They did not charge us for the parts or their labor! Just a super great company!

Patrick our technician was amazing. He came on time and explained everything clearly. Even advised us on another appliance that he wasn’t called for. We have worked with them for years and they are always great and they even follow up later to make sure appliances are working fine. Highly recommend them.

Rossen did some serious resuscitation on our refrigerator that needed a lot of help. I priced new ones and that route would have costed us more than twice what it costed to get Uptown Appliance to bring it back to par. I scheduled an appointment the following day I called. Luis was excellent. He was on time, polite and worked efficiently. Will call them again for any future appliance repair. The follow up call from Bobby was a nice touch.
