"This service was piano tuning, not moving. What a complete disappointment and waste of money. The day after the second "tuning" session, I sat down to play and discovered many many keys are still flat. I called to speak with Ron and his response was tell me he disagreed with my assessment and asked me if I'd tuned over 25,000 pianos in my lifetime. I was taken back by his defensiveness and insulted by his insinuation that aI didn't know what I was talking about. I have been playing for 40 years and you don't have to be a self professed piano wizard to hear a sour note. He didn't offer to stand by his work, he just wanted to argue. Buyer beware, there are other piano tuners in the area that are much less smug than this "pro." Bottom line, we paid Ron a large sum of money for his "work" on a piano that barely sounds marginally better. Save your money and choose a piano tuner elsewhere."

"Worst moving experience I have ever had! I was in the hospital for an organ transplant, but my lease was ending and i had to move. I contacted Square Cow and they were GREAT on the phone. I explained that I needed my entire house packed up and moved on a precise day. They said that was no problem and they would take special care given the fact that I was hospitalized. 2 days before the scheduled move, they call my wife and tell her that they have a scheduling problem and they are coming THAT DAY. She explains that she isn't ready for them and they tell here that if they can't come that day, the deal is off. It is too late to schedule anyone else, so we have to let them come and start packing. They arrive, and right when one of the packers comes through our door he yells, "Aw F* C& no!" which did not give my wife much confidence. She called the company to talk to them about this and was told once again, if you don't like it, call someone else. They threw everything in boxes with no regard for safety or fragile items. Most of my tools were stolen. So many things were broken, we almost couldn't count them all. Their breakage sheet allows for three items. We were told we could not create our own claim sheet beyond what theirs allowed for. We ended up losing $18,000 worth of our stuff to theft and breakage and were told that's too bad. They did not put any boxes in the rooms they were labeled for. 80% just got stuck in the garage. My wife was left to move them into the house by herself. I cannot warn you enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are terrible and they realize that they are in control if you absolutely have to move on a certain day. They completely took advantage of us and stole so many of our valuables. STAY AWAY!!!"

"I hired John Ferguson to move my household after reading excellent reviews. I have been beyond disappointed. First, he sent a 3 man crew to move a 3,192 sq ft house with a 500 sq ft casita with only a local truck and trailer. After 2 loads for both the truck and trailer, all goods were not moved and I had to hire someone else to finish. None of his employees could back a trailer. They hit my gate and messed it up. One of my friends fixed it when Mr. Ferguson did not. While unpacking, I discovered 3 pieces of treasured pottery broken. Two pieces were very delicate pottery crosses. I told his employees I would pack those. Well, they put them in bubble wrap on the BOTTOM of a box with a lamp and an I-Robot on top. One is absolutely shattered. They put a pottery bowl in a box of heavy vases, with very little wrapping; it's in too many pieces to repair. Mr. Ferguson's response was for me to glue it back together. And, a portion of my Stickley library table is missing. He has failed to respond to my text regarding that. I cannot recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage."
