I hired John Ferguson to move my household after reading excellent reviews. I have been beyond disappointed. First, he sent a 3 man crew to move a 3,192 sq ft house with a 500 sq ft casita with only a local truck and trailer. After 2 loads for both the truck and trailer, all goods were not moved and I had to hire someone else to finish. None of his employees could back a trailer. They hit my gate and messed it up. One of my friends fixed it when Mr. Ferguson did not. While unpacking, I discovered 3 pieces of treasured pottery broken. Two pieces were very delicate pottery crosses. I told his employees I would pack those. Well, they put them in bubble wrap on the BOTTOM of a box with a lamp and an I-Robot on top. One is absolutely shattered. They put a pottery bowl in a box of heavy vases, with very little wrapping; it's in too many pieces to repair. Mr. Ferguson's response was for me to glue it back together. And, a portion of my Stickley library table is missing. He has failed to respond to my text regarding that. I cannot recommend John Ferguson Moving & Storage.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME / money. I picked this company to avoid having an issues. I had all my stuff packed up in boxes and easily ready to go. They confirmed with me a week before as well as the night before address & everything. The day of the move the movers arrived AN HOUR LATE! I was sitting in my business waiting for them, I called several times without an answer or any call! I finally found them sitting outside in the parking lot, they main mover was extremely rude with a horrible attitude the entire move. The 2nd young gentleman was great. Unfortunately they damaged a few of my items durning the move! I hired them to move my display cases to avoid having issues and unfortunately just had MORE ISSUE after issue. I called the owner to inform him of this and he literally said he didn’t believe they didn’t call me! I told him to check his call logs because serval calls had been made. He had promised to return my husbands call weeks have passed and he never called us back to fix this situation. It comes off very unprofessional, it’s extremely expensive and for this to go down is even further more showing me they have no concern for their customers. Leaving this review everywhere in hopes this doesn’t happen to anyone else. Waste of time and money.

It went very well although one of my favorite dining room chair was broken. I did claim it and the company gave me 5% off my final bill. I thought that was mighty fair of Mr. Gary Fergurson. The staff was very professional especially Bob, George and Glen. They’re all keepers. It was a pleasure. Thank you all very much.

This is the third time this company had moved things for me and I had also had storage with them as well. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this company. Movers were on time and were quick to assess what needed to be done. Their response and actions were swift and efficient especially considering they had to move a 700lb safe. The team knew exactly how to tackle their obstacle and did it without incident. I had asked for an additional stop prior to moving my stuff to its final location and it wasn't a problem and had made it a priority to ensure everything was done as I requested. I would definitely hire this company again and I highly recommend their services to everyone else.

The moving and storage was performed for my second home, 2200 miles from my primary residence, where I was currently staying when the move occurred. Among the companies I reviewed, John Ferguson turned out to be the best. All transactions had to be handled by phone and email, so naturally I was apprehensive. The operations team sensed my apprehension and were extremely responsive and professional, assuring me of their competence. The movers packed two rooms of household goods, and, according to my representative, the team was courteous and competent and did an excellent job. I communicated with Gary and Mike repeatedly with questions seeking assurances, and they never hesitated to respond. Ferguson will be storing my goods until I purchase a home on the East Coast. I feel comfortable that they will continue to do a good job.

The moves arrived right on time to load the truck for Move from El Paso to San Antonio. The four men worked very hard and did a great job loading the truck. All items were very well packed. The movers worked extra hard in San Antonio. I have never observed movers work harder. However, there were only two of them, and they didn’t finisH until 11:00 PM. Overall, it is one of the best moves we have ever made, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
