Apple Moving

The entire crew of men were gentlemen and thoughtful throughout the whole process. Went above the call of duty to ensure we were pleased.

They arrived about 8:45 AM packed at a fast pace and labelled the boxes regarding the destination rooms in the new location. There was little labelling of the boxes as to contents, mostly the room it came from. Some workers did put some contents information but most did not. Tonight I am in my living room trying to find sofa cushions that have been packed into one or two of 27 boxes labeled "living room" The packing went from 9AM until 2PM. The noise of the tape dispensers and plastic film wrap dispensing was augmented by two different smart phones playing rock music or "rap" at high volumes. I complained when one packer brought his vaping machine into our garage. It smelled sort of sweet. That employee told me I should have complained to him rather than his boss. Two other employees were quieter and quite eager to please the customer. I was relieved when the crew and the noise left for the day. The next day two pickups with trailers came to load and transport the belongings. They did a good job of loading and unloading the piano. One part of my wall system came crashing down as they assembled the system. The damage was minor. I have found no breakage of packed items. Deciding which box to open to find certain groups of items is a crap shoot. Unloading went from about 1 PM until about 2 or 3PM. They were helpful and courteous. I requested and received a 150 dollar price reduction for boxes I had provided and lawn furniture I moved myself after the estimate was made.

Not as well as when Apple Moving ( since bought out by this company) moved us. There was little breakage but the interaction was not pleasant and the atmosphere was tense. Trailer used to haul goods scraped on both driveways. Unpacking was tough since labeling of boxes only said room destination with no clue of contents.

From beginning to end, Apple Moving was outstanding. Ken provided a very thorough inventory of items and assessment of the amount of goods and was responsive to all of my questions leading up to and on the day of the move itself. What was more impressive to me was the quality of the team that actually did the work on the day of the move. In the first 30 minutes it was clear that Apple does not skimp on the matter of hiring. The team of men were courteous, professional, and ever willing to help as I scampered to wrap up some of my packing (this was a PBO move). Equally as important to me was how they listened to my concerns and attended to the details. I have at least 7 large antique items with spindle legs and delicate features that could easily snap if you looked at them wrong. Each pieces was cared for as if it was their own grandmother making the request and every one of those pieces arrived in tact without damage (as did the whole household). I think companies can at times forget the significance of hiring well. The team members (Ruben E., Joe H., Andrew L., and Josh S.) were delightful and kind…and good at what they do. Clearly, Apple Moving understands that your company is only as good as your people!

Overall, of the repeated times I used this company things went. However, the last move was not as smooth. But that last move was done at the busiest time of the year, in late summer. I think I would use them again but maybe only for moves scheduled at other parts of the year.

There were multiple problems with my move. The movers came and said they didn't know there was a garage. When I called the woman said all homes are understood to have a garage. One of the men left my house on foot after one hour. And when he was here he was not working hard at all. He never returned so we were left with 2 men despite our reservation for 3 men. The remaining man called someone and then told us we would be charged for 2 men for the remainder of the move. One of the remaining men told me the guy that left "smoked crack" and had been saying he wanted to leave from the beginning of the day. No attempts were made to get another man to complete our move as reserved. My husband had to help the crew complete the move to compensate for the lost man. All of our belongings did not fit on the truck so we have to get another move. I was not told this was a possibility. I was told there would be enough equipment and manpower for my move. I have never heard of a move of my size taking more than one trip. The move took more time and cost more money because we were down one man and all of our stuff from our modest 3br house was unable to fit on the truck provided. If they were supposed to be prepared for a 3br house they were not. It is only 1642 square foot house. Most of what was in our garage was in our house so it was not like it was more than expected. We had to leave our house with items that will fill several vans when we were paying to have all of our property moved. The move didn't finish until after midnight, 8 hours later. One guy stopped working for 45 minutes and my husband helped them put the bed back together and reassembled the crib by himself. The men were smoking throughout the move making our house smell like cigarettes. And the men asked my father for cigarettes during the move. When the men got to my house and were told what they had to do they acted put out and surprised that they were being asked to move things. They took twice as long as they should have getting from place to place because my husband got to the house in half the time. They sat in front of the house smoking in between stops. They had no sense of urgency like my previous movers had which made my hourly move cost more than it should have. Two of my furniture items was ruined and scratched. All of these things created an unprofessional and stressful move for us. The men did work hard but they were far from my expectations for professional movers. I have used apple moving at least 4 times and have never had a bad experience. As a loyal customer I expect more and deserve more for my loyalty and referrals I have made. This was not the caliber of movers and moving I expect from this company. They did send a second truck for free to move the remainder of my things, but they only gave me $100 for the difference in price for 2 man crew. They did not pay for the damage to my items and fence. And they stopped responding to my emails. Some people were helpful and professional, but clearly the management does not care about return customers. I would not recommend this inconsistent company to anyone who values their time and property.

I was a happy customer. They had some problems due to the terrain around my new home -- but they were able to creatively solve all the issues. They worked hard to move my piano and didn't ding my piano up at all. I had 15-20 steps to get up to the front door and they did a nice job. They actually came out to my new home ahead of time to survey the terrain and they priced the job based on the difficulty in accessing my new home.

They did the job with the price promised. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Couldn't be more pleased,  very fast and super careful. Highly recommend. 

These movers were wonderful!  They were professional, kind, and extremely hard working.  I've moved a lot in Dallas, and I've used several different moving companies.  These guys are  without a doubt the best movers you can get, especially for the affordable pricing.  I will certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Joe and Ronnie worked very hard and did a great job on this move. Very professional and helpful. They exceeded our expectations. This was the 2nd time we moved with Apple Moving and will use them again in the future.

This move could have been difficult because furniture was being moved from an apartment in Northwest Austin to a home in Northwest Austin and to another home near Bastrop.
I was very pleased with the help I received from the woman I spoke with in the Mustang Movers office.  She was pleasant and competent so scheduling the move was simple. The price she quoted for the move was so much less than I expected that I had to ask twice to be sure the amount was for the entire move and with tax.
The day of the move Daniel and Rene called first and arrived on time.  They were both were very curteous and very cautious moving the furniture.  All of the furniture was moved into the new locations with extreme care. 
I could not possibly have been more pleased with the whole experience.
