Welcome to Clark Piano Works. My name is Blake, and I’ve been tuning and repairing pianos full time for over six years. My path as a piano technician began here in Austin and has recently brought me back to central Texas via Boston, where I have been servicing pianos, studying music and working as an audio engineer. Whether you need a fine tune on your concert grand or a resuscitation of your inherited spinet, I can help you with whatever you need! Very reasonable in price, he let me know exactly how long it would take & what would be involved, and his work held up perfectly. While he was here, a neighboor on my Nextdoor app inquired about recommendations of someone who can fix sticking keys. He was able to schedule with them the following day and they also thought Blake's services were stellar!

Blake was on time, talked about the piano, and he started to work. He started to tune, then found some repairs. He talked to me first and then proceeded with them then went back to tuning. He charged the price he quoted me, but I felt it should have been more for the time and work he did. I will definitely be calling him next year.

It went (as they say) swimmingly. Blake was on schedule and did a thorough job of ARTFULLY taking care of my piano. When he started the piano was pretty much in tune and sounded okay /good. When he finished it was FINE tuned and now sounds GREAT! I am delighted. My expectations met... and exceeded. Thank you, Blake!

Blake was professional and very affordable. My piano sounds great, and he was very helpful in explaining any questions I had. It took around an hour, and I just let him do his thing while I got some work done around the house. Quick, painless, affordable, and quality work. Couldn't ask for more.

We called with an unplayable piano, and after describing our situation he assured us we would be playing in no time. He was very friendly and flexible in his schedule, and very tolerant of our children being nearby during the tuning and repair. When a portion of our piano was taken to his shop for further repair he maintained constant contact and held his deadlines. Afterwards a second fine tuning was included in the cost and afterwards we were left with a beautiful, well tuned and playable turn of the century piano. Couldn't be happier with his dedicated and personalized service and would definitely recommend and use again.
