"Lone Star Carpets installed all my flooring and shower tiles for multiunit homes in south Austin. My sincere appreciation is well-deserved to Mr. Tony Rodriguez! He is an experienced, well educated, well-informed, a professional and quite personable individual. Tony is the contractor working with my excellent builder, Truitt Group- Mr. Logan Leen. Tony himself was directly involved in the project from the beginning: getting all the necessary measurements, ordering martials, following up with the installation crew, and making the final inspections of the installations. He also left me with the plenty leftover tiles and material for possible future repairs or renovation!! Tony certainly gives his full attention and care one will need during a home construction! Thank you Tony. My appreciations of his installation crew: Mr. David Romero installed almost all flooring and shower tiles. He is efficient and very conservative with material usage, yet installs quality work. He is very hard-working individual and makes sure to get the job done and done wright! Mr. Juan is the crew lead as well as a great installer. He leads the group by example and makes sure all works are done correctly. Mr. Roger is a good installer and seems enjoys his work and is just happy person. "Right before my warranty expired the bathtub I had refinished started peeling on the area in front of the tub. When I called to get it fixed the office that did the original job was redistricted and would not service me so there was some back and forth with the new location in my service area taking responsibility for the repair. They finally agreed to do the repair but never completed it. The area they fixed was patched but never repainted to match the rest of the tub so it now looks white in some area's but a dingy gray on the patched area and now my warranty has expired."

"I have hired Jeff and his team to do work on my homes three times now. Pride in his work shows. Not just Jeff, but everyone on his crew has always show up on time, and considerate of our spaces and even social distancing as necessary. Our most recent project was at the beginning of the Covid-19 quarantine and outside, but it was necessary for them to come in a bit). The quality of the work has always been outstanding and better than the (old but longstanding) builder quality which I hire them to upgrade for me. They pay attention to detail and always go above and beyond - when surprise "extras" appear in the work, offering choices for solutions that won't break my budget. It is so hard to find great contractors that not only show up (on time!!) and finish on time, but also stay on budget. Jeff and his team not only do this, but also great people. I won't hesitate to recommend them and hire them again for any future home improvements and repair."

"I worked with Andrew Bobst through a flood remediation process. And while he was extremely responsive & quick to come out to the house in the flood aftermath, the rest of the process was like pulling teeth. There was unclear communication about how long the dryers needed to run, promises of working with insurance, but to which I later became the middle man for payment. And most significantly, a tile that was ruined when the walls were taken out. I've spent 5 months trying to work with them to get them to replace this. And I've even offered to provide a replacement tile myself, if they'll just have someone come replace it. Unfortunately, despite countless followups, Andrew has not made the time to get this resolved. So I certainly won't be giving them my service again."

"We were in the stage of purchase where we delivered a sink to site (11th June) so they could make the correct cuts for a quartz countertop install. The sink was inspected on site by Amy while I was there (my wife and I had inspected it prior to delivering it as well), a 70% payment made for the countertop, and a date for install was set 13 days later. On the day of installation my wife received a call saying the sink had broken and asked what we would like to do. She stated she would call them back after speaking with me. Before we had the chance to call back we received a text message saying they were working on a solution for the sink and to stand by. They then sent an image and link to a sink of similar design and color. We clarified that it was the same color and undermount and then said that we it was fine and we appreciated them finding a solution. The countertop was installed after some unclear back and forth.We were told either around or after the expected arrival time that we would not be able to have it installed that day because they were too far behind schedule. Later that evening (after 6 if I'm not mistaken) the crew showed up to install. They did a fine job. We received an invoice for the remaining 30% of the countertops and surprisingly, also the cost of the replacement sink. Which would mean that we paid for our own sink that they broke AND the replacement sink that they delivered. A text said that we should work on getting a refund for our original sink...the issue being that the sink does not have proper grounds for a refund because it was not broken upon arrival. We paid the remaining amount for the countertops which is what we had originally agreed to. We are now getting phone calls, texts, and emails from Michelle saying it was not inspected that day (11th June) despite me checking the sink and watching Amy inspect it on site. Austin Granite Direct had the sink in their possession for 13 more days prior to being told it became broken. It remained in their possession because the fabricators needed to have the sink for the cuts. Despite paying the best part of $6k to Austin Granite Direct (everything we originally agreed to) they want more money from me to pay for a sink they broke. Michelle also wants to add late fees for the sink. We were pleasant and patient when we were told that the sink had become broken, and again when we were told that installation couldn't happen that day, and again when the installation crew unexpectedly arrived into our evening. I can't help but feel that this is a bit of a scam to get more money from us since we didn't originally purchase a sink from them."
