"We are very happy with the whole process of designing our landscaping, the installation and the follow up. Jon drew great designs for us, worked with us to stay in our budget, talked about plants, substitutions and the best ones for the outcome we wanted. We have designed, updated and had landscaping installed a number of times so we know a little about plants and what works and doesn’t for Houston’s climate. We also knew what we wanted to see as an outcome, including landscape lighting. Jon and his crew do very good work and Jon is onsite quite a bit during the whole process, and very flexible in making changes on the fly and adapting and being practical in solutions to get the desired outcome. "Prior to Zodega, my irrigation company was Taylor Irrigation Service, with which I was very happy. Zodega bought out Taylor and I began to do business with them. Zodega is unresponsive and unprofessional. I had work done a month ago by Zodega and was having issues. I called three times on a Thursday and two times on Friday. No one ever responded. They have an answering service and customers are not allowed to speak to any employee directly. When finally I called on Friday evening, the answering service stated no one would contact me till Monday. I was told the Zodega has bought out several companies. Apparently they are growing but their customer satisfaction and service is going out the window. Plan to change companies immediately for my future services."

We had suspected there could be an issue in the past and were told that we were looking at a 15K job. We were mortified, and called Sam the Plumber to get a second opinion. Their representative was very understanding of our situation and we were relieved when he said they could have everything done 2 days from then, at only 3K dollars. This place was a relief after several months of dishonest contractors and headaches. We highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs."

"I have done business with IOE for almost a decade and as I had them do more projects the more frustrated I became. It was a different and much better company under the original owner Bret. Since Cory has taken over, all he does is make the sell and send you the bill. When I have an issue, it will take him over a week to respond. In a recent project I hired IOE for was to replace my fence. The installers used too long of nails which came through on the neighbors side. My neighbor shared his concern for safety and when I contacted Cory, it took him 3 days to respond and longer than a week to resolve. I don't know if they have gotten too busy but when you spend money you expect them to respond especially when it is regarding safety. If you hire IOE here is what you can expect: expensive cost, long/poor response times and a laundry list of excuses from Cory. I would not recommend."
