We do everything with one concept in mind. "Excellence in Landscaping" We are trying to set as new standard for this profession and provide excellent design, landscape implementation and customer service which is what I feel is one of the most important aspects of a company. We have been Angie’s List Super Service Awards starting in 2013 and for 7 consecutive years. We are very happy with the whole process of designing our landscaping, the installation and the follow up. Jon drew great designs for us, worked with us to stay in our budget, talked about plants, substitutions and the best ones for the outcome we wanted. We have designed, updated and had landscaping installed a number of times so we know a little about plants and what works and doesn’t for Houston’s climate. We also knew what we wanted to see as an outcome, including landscape lighting. Jon and his crew do very good work and Jon is onsite quite a bit during the whole process, and very flexible in making changes on the fly and adapting and being practical in solutions to get the desired outcome. He and his crew are dependable, show up when he says they will, and he is very responsive and communicative! We will continue to use Jon/JB Landscape and highly recommend him!

JB Landscaping did a full landscaping design for my front and backyards. Everything looks great and Jon was very easy to work with and communicated the progress of the project ever step of the way. I now use their services for weekly care and I am very happy with that service also.

JB Landscape does fantastic work - Jon’s designs are wonderful, his crew is great, they get the job done incredibly fast, while still attending to all the details. This is the second house they have transformed the landscaping for us, highly recommended.

We gave Jonathan the go ahead to redo, design all new landscaping in our front and backyard. After the winter freeze in February every we currently had was dead or just looked awful so it all had to go. Jonathan came up with a design that was absolutely gorgeous and so fitting with our corner lot and elevation of our home. He worked with us on our budget and was never pushy about anything. He kept us updated as to when work would start which was to clear out all the old stuff then start with the new. He and his crew worked so hard, showing up when he said they’d be there and working all day long. Jonathan didn’t just ‘send’ a crew he was part of the crew each and every day, always on site overseeing that everything was perfect. We could not be happier with our yard and the work that JB Landscaping performed. We’ve had so many compliments from so many neighbors and as soon as the work was done and May arrived the neighborhood association gave us ‘Yard of the Month’ Neighbors who we didn’t even know stopped to ask who did our work and we gladly passed along the contact information. Anything we may want or need done in the future, we will only call JB Landscaping. Just can’t say enough good things about Jonathan and his company JB Landscaping.

Jon and his crew installed my landscaping a few years ago and I have them come back in the Spring to freshen the shrubs, flowers, and mulch. Jon's work is first-rate. He always does what he says. The before and after difference is amazing. These guys know what they are doing. It is always a pleasure working with Jon.

Very well. Most recent work with J.B. Landscape was maintenance of the landscaping that was installed. Trimmed all trees, plants and vines, eliminated weeds, picked up fallen leaves, adjusted watering / sprinklers, adjusted lighting, treated plants for pests, provided fertilizer and added some New seasonal color. The crew was on property for between 90 minutes and maybe 2 hours start to finish. Picked up and bagged all cuttings, swept and rinsed surrounding decks down. Our landscaping looked terrific when the JB Landscape Crew left the house.

Jon stayed with the project until we secured relief from the drainage problems that we had been encountering. Jon is a pleasure to deal with. He knows what he is doing. He is a very good communicator and attends to the work when says he is going to do it., You can tell that Jon treats his crew fairly. As a result they work very hard for him. I would hire Jon again in a heartbeat. He was professional, punctual, hardworking through the whole job, and we are very happy with the outcome. He updated me the whole way from the initial design all to the way to very last step of the job. Even after the project was completed, he's still very fast to answer questions about maintenance and anything else that would come up regarding my backyard. The winter did a number on my lawn - mostly due to all the rain - resulting in fungus, dead areas, uneven drainage, etc. I’d also struggled with healthy shrubs from a previous company’s error. I found Jon on Angie’s List due to ranking and testimonials. I put in a request for a quote and he came out to take a look. He understood right away what needed attention. I was on the schedule promptly - I might add that I am impatient and a bit of a perfectionist. I cringed each time I went out with my dogs or pulled into my driveway to see my once beautiful lawn in the worst condition and just overrun with weeds. Those irritating kind of weeds that you can’t just pull easily. Anyway, Jon and his team came out and performed magic! They arrived on time - Jon arrived first and was already pulling weeds and doing some prep which included bringing plants over in his VERY nice personal automobile and then the crew arrived with everything else. They removed old mulch and anything else that was not healthy while saving and repositioning others in a better placement. The original quote was a bit more than my budget, but Jon pulled back a few things and reused some of what I had and I was happy. You get what you pay for and I don’t mind doing that for quality service and a new relationship that will maintain the work done. I’m releasing my previous vendor of their duty to fertilize and maintain my lawn and shrubs as it never seemed to thrive with all the money I spent. Jon will help a couple of times a year for maintenance and I know I can count on getting suggestions for how I can maintain things. Oh and he spent much of another afternoon working on my landscape light that wasn’t working properly. We’ll be adding additional lighting this summer, but for now, I will enjoy watching my lawn come back to life and looking through my windows to see pretty flowers and shrubs highlighting my home again! It’s time to have friends over to show it all off and start summer festivities!

I had a professional landscaper design/implement landscape in my front yard two times with lack luster results. I reached out to Jon for help, based on his high rating on Angie’s list. I thought it would be a simple redo of some plants but he designed a whole new look in the front yard that is spectacular. I was impressed with his creativity and the quality of his work. He was in my yard, with his crew, supervising and working with them side-by side. I never received that level of service. There were also simple things that he did above and beyond, such as, cleaning drains, checking sprinkler system, etc. He also suggested lights in the front/side yards. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the money but I am glad I did. It makes my house look beautiful and puts a smile on my face every time I walk/drive by the front yard. I highly suggest doing it. I appreciate his dedication and quality service… he was a pleasure to work with.

Our French Drain was completely stopped up flooding our back and side yard with any significant rainfall. Jon and his crew were able to fit us into his tight schedule. They were professional and went above and beyond in the project making sure we would never have the problem again. He rerouted a couple of areas and put the spouts directly into drain. We would highly recommend Jon for any irrigation issues.

This is the second time that I have used Jon and his company. He did my backyard a couple of years ago and I had him return to landscape the front. Jon always comes up with a unique design and kept me posted along the way. Jon's crew was here on the date expected and finished the job promptly. Clean up and trimming of the back was also included. I would recommend JB Landscaping for any outside work.

We did a major landscape renovation of our front and back yards. The front was re-designing the flower beds and a sprinkler system on three sides of the house. The back yard included a 14 ft. by 14 ft. pergla, 650 sq. ft. of new pavers, and a 5,000 gallon pond. The pond is a turtle habitat (two species) with water feature and a fence. JB Landscaping did research on tutrles and thier habitats. .We were pleased with the final result. The pond is beautiful from all sides. There was good communication on both sides during the entire process. The workers worked well when they were here. There was clean up done each time there was work being done. The work was well done.
