We had just finished a 20K dollar renovation of our home and came in a little over budget. So, naturally, when we determined we would have to start saving money, our sewer line broke. We had suspected there could be an issue in the past and were told that we were looking at a 15K job. We were mortified, and called Sam the Plumber to get a second opinion. Their representative was very understanding of our situation and we were relieved when he said they could have everything done 2 days from then, at only 3K dollars. This place was a relief after several months of dishonest contractors and headaches. We highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.

This business recently performed a re-piping for me after my closed loop plumbing system began seeping water into my house. My first clue was when I had to get up at 3AM and go shut the main water down by the curb when the first and only connection they made leaked. I have never seen the level of ineptness in scheduling coupled with the mysterious inability to reply to any phone calls or texts. I never knew when the crew was coming and lost count of the number of times I left work to meet them and they never showed up and never responded to calls. Part of the deal was for them to write up an invoice and help me interface with my insurance for a claim. I was repeatedly told to not contact the insurance without them as saying the wrong thing would lead to a denial of claim. It has been over a month now and despite multiple scheduling's, no one has ever done this. They claimed to have a great drywaller to repair the damaged drywall and access points they created for the install. To this day I don't know who that is and there are holes in my walls still. The water taps on the outside of the house are just sticking through the walls without any support. The absolute final straw was me physically going to the shop and meeting the manager to solve this issue. He was shocked and surprised about the situation and promised to come out and start resolving these issues...4 hours after the time he set had passed with no phone calls it's clear that these people cannot keep their word about anything. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any contractor of any sort in my entire life. I suggest anyone needing any work done stay far far away from this incredibly unprofessional business. It probably wont be that hard, this place won't be around too long. Not with this total lack of professionalism. I'm now going to have to eat the insurance I guess and I'll get my own drywaller. Will have to call a second plumber in to fix what was left undone. I'm not a rich guy. I'm an hourly gut taking care of his 83 year old mother. The stress of the randomly appearing workers and chaos it created has not been good for her. I don't know what else to say. I hope no one else has to go through this. Do not use these guys.

This company ripped us off for thousands of dollars. THOUSANDS. In a nut shell they lied to us and told us the main line under our patio was the problem via their cameras when it WASN'T, they just wanted to cover their butts because the main line THEY replaced not even a year ago was totally shot and so poorly put in that caused my house to flood again and it had NOTHING to do with the line under my patio.... this is per the plumbers who ripped it out for no reason based on Sam the Plumbers bid, and per THEIR OWN SAME THE PLUMBER TEAM members who had to replace it in the end AGAIN. To this day they refuse to even talk to us about the money we lost in destroying our brand new patio for no reason other than a CYOA LIES. SAM THE PLUMBER RIPPED OFF NOT JUST US BUT OUR 4 KIDS. WHO DOES THAT?????????? We lost thousands and due to it we had to cancel our 4 kids Disney World vacation just 60 days out because the money we had saved for it paid to destroy our new patio and replace a good plumbing line due to a liar. My little girl, and my autistic son was bawling, my oldest was devastated and kept saying "why did they do this to us". I am crying just remembering those hard hours watching my kids heartbreak. Thanks Sam the Plumber! When it comes to Sam the Plumber I highly recommend to RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THEM. THEY LIE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, AND THEY (yes the owner and Morgan) will act like they care via the phone but then never return any of your calls once they realize the magnitude of their staff members deception. I have called in the last week over 3 times for Morgan only to be promised a call “right back” only to never get one. I trusted her, I trusted all of them. They lie… THEY ALL LIE.

The plumber who came was kind and temporarily replaced the disposal, at first charging $175 then dropping the price to $140 because that's how much cash I had I. Hand. However it broke entirely less than a week later and the owner told me to get a new disposal which he'd personally install...he told me what kind to buy- at least 1.5 hp and told me he'd be there in the morning. He never showed- not even days later. Finallly- after at least an entire week passed- I gave up and hired another plumber to install it for me T my expenses. I had dishes piling up and it wasn't pleasant living conditions in the increasingly unclear rn hkitchen and I worried about the health hazard I feared it may pose and are out for at least a week. When it was finally replaced I breathed a sigh of relief...I am disappointed in Sam personally and professionally and the fact that a customer had to endure what I did- with no explanation or apology. Unacceptable.

The representative came out on time and was very professional. He performed an analysis of the problem. He fixed the issue and showed us some remedies for the next time the same situation happens. I would definitely hire this company again.

They responded quickly and did advise me that there was an extra charge for after hours service. It took a while to locate the issue but it was cleared quickly. Not the end of the story. They said I would need our toilets rebuilt since the water backup into the toilets and the shower. They came back and did that. Still not the end of the story. The water backed up again. Into the shower and toilets. They came back and told us that there was a bigger backup and would need more money to find it. They spent hours locating it after we paid another 300.00 and after another plumber came and cleared the problem...they left. All told we spent over $2,000.00 on all of this.

We were in need of a plumber as we had a leak in an exterior pipe. Found Sam the Plumber on Angie's List and with the good rating, gave them a call. It was actually a very pleasant experience. We called that morning and began receiving service within a few hours. We had a wonderful man named Angelo who arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. He made the repair and even came back that night when he was off the clock to check to make sure the leak had stopped and to turn our water back on. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very pleased with the $300 price too. Will definitely recommend to family, friends, and neighbors.

I called and they came out 45 minutes later as promised. The plumber was very polite and diagnosed the problem straght away. He gave me a quote and went right to snaking under sink until he met problem and cleared. He brought his own pail, etc. and cleaned up immediately. He was very imformative and polite. Work was done by excellent capability. Will definitely keep in mind for bigger project we have for future.

Called on a Saturday morning at 815am. Big plus to get a plumber so easily on Saturday without triggering an emergency call. Got  an immediate call back. Steve and Justin  arrived  between 9 and 930am. I explained the location of  the leak  and the fact that the pipe had come apart. They removed a partially completed ceiling sheetrock patch, with my permission, since the leak was not easily accessible from the attic. They did  the repair work efficiently, courteously, and professionally.  It was not a particularly difficult task but it was done well and without wasted effort. Cost was relatively reasonable. I was happy to have the issue resolved so quickly. They provided the number of a recommended sheetrock repairman and a quote for replacing two attic water heaters. I'm still in the process of determining whether I like the cost or not.
