"I would give zero stars if I could. They are completely incompetent. We hired them to install a set of french doors to my backyard. They couldn't get the door to close properly, and the French doors were scraping against each other when closing. They claimed the issue was a faulty hinge and that they needed to order a replacement. I emailed them multiple times for updates, and getting a response was like pulling teeth. They consistently postponed the repair date. When they finally returned to fix it, THREE MONTHS LATER, they discovered the problem wasn't the hinge at all, but rather a protruding screw. They didn't even use the replacement hinge; they simply replaced the screw. As a result, I had a non-functioning door for three months. Furthermore, we provided them with the specifications of the hardware we were going to order. They initially advised that a single dummy handle would suffice for the non-locking door, but it actually required a passage handle. However, when they realized the single dummy handle wouldn't work, they told us to order a double dummy handle, before they realized it needed a passage. Now, I have two extra sets of wasted hardware. I can't return them because their prolonged delay in installing the door caused the return period to expire. I also don't know what kind of discount door they got, but the handle is extremely low, only 30 inches above the ground. When I looked it up, door handles are usually 36 inches above the floor. They are terrible"

"We had an absolutely terrible experience with Power Remodeling. My husband scheduled what was supposed to be a “free estimate” after speaking with a representative named Alfonso. Instead, we ended up with a sales representative (Tara) who turned the visit into an hours-long, extremely pushy sales pitch. She would not take “no” for an answer, ignored my repeated requests to wrap things up, and even told me she would wait at my dining room table until my husband (who had excused himself to take a shower to escape the presentation) came back. I had to firmly ask her to leave multiple times before she finally left — it was incredibly stressful and completely unprofessional. No homeowner should feel pressured or trapped in their own home by a salesperson. This experience has ensured that we will never purchase from this company, and we will warn others to avoid them as well. I am reporting this incident to the BBB, Yelp, Google and other consumer complaint platforms so that other families are aware of these aggressive tactics."

"I am a customer who completed multiple projects with LOA Construction. All projects went well except for the roofing repair on my primary residence. LOA sent out a Spanish speaking crew who damaged my home. The owner refused to fix the damage & only credited me 2K for the damages. PM Harris confirmed with me via text that the roofing crew was terminated for poor performance. The crew also left alcohol cans on-site. When I referred LOA to my parents, LOA tried to overcharge my parents for the same roofing materials. I was promised improved pricing & better service but LOA failed to deliver. I will never do any more business with them & will be taking them to small claims court. They do not keep their word"

"Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job. Happy to work with Alex and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects!"

"He was 45 min late for initial estimate but we decided to go with him anyway. He sent out two guys to instill Grip Rite to cover damaged shingles {about 2 3x4 & 1 8x4 sections} for upcoming storm. $145 for materials and they spent 15 min to install. After having issues getting in touch with Mike through his office leaving messages with no return phone calls. The last time I spoke with the lady at the office she said I need to make out all checks payable top her, That made me a little nervous and decided to go in a different direction. He said fine but I owe him $1500 for the 15 min and $145 in materials. I thought that was crazy, I offered $750 which was still ridiculous. He demanded $1500. I refused to pay. Long story short he put a lien on a house that I don't even own. I would not recommend over and above for anything."
