I would give zero stars if I could. They are completely incompetent. We hired them to install a set of french doors to my backyard. They couldn't get the door to close properly, and the French doors were scraping against each other when closing. They claimed the issue was a faulty hinge and that they needed to order a replacement. I emailed them multiple times for updates, and getting a response was like pulling teeth. They consistently postponed the repair date. When they finally returned to fix it, THREE MONTHS LATER, they discovered the problem wasn't the hinge at all, but rather a protruding screw. They didn't even use the replacement hinge; they simply replaced the screw. As a result, I had a non-functioning door for three months. Furthermore, we provided them with the specifications of the hardware we were going to order. They initially advised that a single dummy handle would suffice for the non-locking door, but it actually required a passage handle. However, when they realized the single dummy handle wouldn't work, they told us to order a double dummy handle, before they realized it needed a passage. Now, I have two extra sets of wasted hardware. I can't return them because their prolonged delay in installing the door caused the return period to expire. I also don't know what kind of discount door they got, but the handle is extremely low, only 30 inches above the ground. When I looked it up, door handles are usually 36 inches above the floor. The windows are the highest quality and the installation was quick and high quality. I'm extremely happy with my windows. They made this house feel like a home.

JP is OK, but they could have done better. The siding on both sides of the house is slightly crooked (not the front and back, just the sides), and we were unable to open some of our windows after they completed their work. We might use them again, but Angi doesn't provide a "Maybe" option.

My co-worker recommended JP Construction, and I'm so glad he did. They communicated well, were on time, and did great work. Windows were done in a day, siding and painting took a few more days, and everything went very smoothly. The end result was picture perfect. There was room in the contract for fixing rotten boards should they find them once they removed the siding. This allowed for what I knew would be some necessary repair work without running up the final cost. They even fixed a few rotting roof trim boards that my roofer (a different company) had said they'd fix but never did. JP Construction saw that there was an issue and took care of it. AND they fixed a gutter that had been hung incorrectly and was holding water. There was nothing in the contract about that, but they took the time to do it. That's pretty amazing customer service. My neighbor said that it looked like I had a whole new house when they were done. I suppose it would when you get new windows and siding, but that's also a commentary on the quality of work. I'd recommend JP Construction to anyone.

I’m very happy and highly recommend JP Construction after they replaced my 50 year old siding with Hardie siding for the whole house. After the new siding was painted, the exterior looks like a new construction home. From the initial meeting with Jon, thru the construction process with Mike and Aleks and his crew, and the final walkthrough I feel that my all concerns were addressed. You can tell they really care about their work and check every detail. There was a significant delay because a winter storm hit in the middle of construction, but I was amazed at how well just the new insulation and wrap held up for a week before work was able to resume. I couldn’t be happier knowing that work and the material will last a lifetime.

JP Construction was a great choice. Jon (owner) came out on two different occasions to understand the scope of the project and answer all our questions. He was punctual and very knowledgeable. The contract, invoice, and payment process are all electronic and easy to use. The crew was fantastic and have been working with JP for 10+ years. They were friendly and genuinely wanted us to be happy with the job. Our project included a lot of detailed trim that we wanted to match from the original 30's construction and crew lead worked with us to find the perfect solutions to ensure we were happy with the results. I would highly recommend JP Construction again and would definitely call upon them for future projects well.

I am so pleased with my home improvements done by JP Construction! They replaced crumbling siding with Hardie plank and painted the exterior. They power washed our limestone and it looks like new. They basically rebuilt our exterior fireplace as much of the interior wood was rotted. They relocated our master bath window, installed a new one, and replaced our patio door with one we'd bought, all in conjunction with the siding and painting work! It was almost seamless. I got bids from 4 companies and JP was very competitive. He came out and discussed the work, educating us in the process. The project manager Mike scheduled our work and was quick to respond to my calls or emails. I cannot say enough good things about the hard- working crew led by Carlos! The crew of 4 or 5 worked quickly and did an excellent, thorough and quality job. They came back every day until it was done. I love how it all turned out. I would absolutely use them again! Our experience with JP Construction from initial estimate to job completion was great! Matt showed up on time for our estimate (some others didn't even bother to show, so that was an instant point), and was able to provide an estimate within a few hours. The estimate was thorough and competitively priced. Through them, we were able to work with a color consultant to select our house colors and order paint samples to test things out before we committed. The crew showed up on the Monday before Thanksgiving and had our old siding down and new siding installed by that Wednesday. Our neighbors down the street were also having siding replaced, and our job was started after and completed before theirs! The team was awesome. They returned to paint after the holidays, and had the whole project wrapped up by the end of the following week. It was like having a brand new house in just two weeks.

I can't recommend these guys enough. Their price was competitive (on the low end, actually). They replaced every window in my house (24 of them), and did a thorough and professional job. They reinsulated and caulked, replaced and added trim as needed (new windows are generally thicker than old ones), and painted the trim. The job looks fantastic, and of course the new windows have tightened up the house considerably. We can't hear outside noises as much (wasn't expecting that). This job was done in late August, early September of 2018, so there were weather delays that couldn't be helped, but JP was fast and thorough, and cleaned up after themselves after every workday. Oh, and they also replaced my shutters when I realized that they had weathered beyond repair (seperate cost, but again reasonable). I would happily use them again.

JP Construction is a great company and I am glad to recommend their services. First, you know the company is serious about getting your your work (and confidence) when the owner of the company shows up at your house to appraise your job needs. Jon Polson addressed all my questions about the scope of the work to be undertaken and provided a prompt proposal and estimate of costs. Once approved, the JP team went into action. Mike Long oversaw the entire process coordinating various teams of window installers, siding crew, and painters. They really work as a team. There were some unavoidable delays due to weather, (It was early spring.) but I was kept informed of all necessary rescheduling. All the crews did a great job and left the job site clear and clean at the end of every workday. Any remodel or construction job has a degree of stress for the homeowner, but JP Construction kept the stress level low. Final walkthrough went well. The last thing Mike did was replace a window screen that had been damaged during the work process. I have another job pending and plan on using JP once again.

Mike really worked with us to get what we needed at the price we could afford. After the first estimate came back over our budget (but still reasonable for what we were asking), Mike allowed us to change our request and adjusted the estimate and work accordingly. Instead of new siding all around, we had them put new siding on one side and caulk and paint three sides of our 1350+SF house that's up on stilts. He made excellent recommendations of materials with good explanations—for example, low E Simonton vinyl windows instead of aluminum. The workers are skilled, polite, and friendly, even when things were tough. This old house didn't want to let its single-pane windows go! And they had to find extra-long ladders to finish the trim around the windows and paint on one side. When impending storms caused a temporary shutdown of the project, they made sure everything would be dry and secure. Communication was good throughout the project—when there was a misunderstanding about what work was to be done, it was quickly cleared up. The pictures below are before, during, and after the project. We're really happy with JP Construction and would use them again.

Reasonably. I selected these guys in part because of their Angies List rating, but primarily because they offered windows that matched my existing ones. There were some scheduling hiccups and initially the window trim was painted with a flat finish rather than semi-gloss. I talked to them and they very quickly and professionally redid it.
