"They came began the work messed up 4 rolls of wallpaper and crumbled up the rolls and left them in my bathroom and left without saying anything and txt saying he was sorry he couldn't do it and for me to send over the bill for the wallpaper and when I sent the bill he went radio silence. I wouldn't recommend him or Angi as they were no help either."

It’s best to remove wallpaper rather than paint over it. You should only paint over wallpaper if removing it would damage the wall, the surface is relatively smooth, or there are minimal problem areas—such as slight peeling and lifted seams—that you can fix easily. While peel-and-stick wallpapers require no time to cure, the adhesives for other types of papers will take a day or two to dry and up to three weeks to fully cure. The differences are the type of paper, the type of adhesive, and the humidity and temperature in the space.
