I am certainly not trying to make excuses, but I had just completed my 3rd job in about 6 days after being without work for about 4 ½ weeks. I was mentally and physically tired and should have called to reschedule, as you did the day before when you weren’t feeling well. That was unprofessional of me and for that I am sorry. I wish you would have met the professional that everyone else meets as evidenced by the many kind reviews that I have here on Angie’s List. I hope that you find a good company that will meet your drywall and painting needs and we can just both put this behind us as an unfortunate incident that occurred during a stressful and trying time. I absolutely recommend Wes Means. He did a phenomenal job repairing drywall and painting trim, walls, ceiling and doors; and then painting a shiplap accent wall for a bedroom I was remodeling. In addition to being very professional, personable, and on-time, Wes was very meticulous with a very high attention to detail, . I will most definitely use him again.

Wes gave me a price and work schedule. Showed up on time and did a very professional job patching the crack and matching the texture on the ceiling. Spent the time to make sure to protect all the furniture and floors and cleaned up as if he had never been there. Does not use and subcontractors and takes pride in his work.

I was looking for a hands-on drywall man who also did interior painting, rather than the other way around.  I found an absolute jewel in Wes Means!  Wes went above-and-beyond in repairing so many things, not noticeable until pointed out. Wes tackled a really tough job in repairing drywall cracks on a 11 foot ceiling, right above the counter top, very poor access.  Wes did a first class job on  drywall repair, and hand matched the texture, avoiding to having to re-texture the entire ceiling.  The ceiling repair took two days, clean up was very neat. Wes also did drywall repair on 2 small bedrooms, and then painted both the ceiling and walls.  Wes always on time at 8:30, worked fast and neatly, plenty of paper on floors, and poly protection on furniture where needed.  All painting was done by hand, no spray.  Wes is a true craftsman!  I would look forward to having Wes back on other projects.

Wes did an excellent job, taking a total of two days. First day he spent on prep work that included papering the floors for protection and covering the entire kitchen in plastic drop protection. On the second day, he painted. I strongly recommend Wes for any painting and dry wall work you want to have done.

He worked hard and fast, even doing little extras, such as caulking my windows (and quot;he took it as a professional pride, sort of a and quot;this is how it *should* be doneand quot; attitude; I was impressed by this). I am beyond pleased with Wes's work. He was punctual, provided valuable help and assistance in picking the right types of paints/stains, and completed the work quickly and efficiently without comprosing attention to detail. I painted a portion of my cabinets white and stained another portion a dark, espresso-like color. Wes was able to match the white paint with my trim perfectly. He also suggested using a solid exterior stain for the dark cabinetry - initially I hesitated fearing it would look like an outdoor deck, but the finished product looks incredible. His work freshened up the entire look of the house. Very grateful for his diligent work.
