Dodson Foundation Repair

Dodson Foundation's crew was very prompt and detailed with their work, explaining what needed to be done at each different repair point of my home and providing insight when they came across potential structural issues from previous foundation work or lack thereof. Tom, Misty, and Juan are very knowledgeable and as a bonus also very friendly and easy to talk with. I'll be recommending them to friends and family for any foundation needs.

If I had known foundation repair could go so smoothly, I wouldn’t have put it off so long. Dodson Foundation made it so easy. They came. Did a thorough inspection and showed us at every point what the readings showed. The crew was very respectful of our property. They even had to dig up a shrub, which they preserved the root ball and replanted it, hood as new! If you are dreading foundation work, give Dodson Foundation a call. Their rates are very reasonable, too. We highly recommend them!

I couldn't be happier with Dodson! I was prepared to get three bids as I was leery about who to trust. Dodson was who I met first -- and I was so comfortable with Tom & Misty that I didn't even meet with any others! Many referrals indicate how honest Tom is, and I found that to be true. His crew didn't disappoint, either. I wasn't sure what to expect about the job itself as it seems so daunting. But, Dodson make the whole thing painless! His crew were hard workers and politely accommodated any of my requests. They were considerate of my plants, sprinklers, and landscape lights. But, no problems whatsoever! Dodson's crew was on-time, professional, friendly, communicative, efficient and respectful of my property. They lifted the house gently and back filled the pier holes so well that I had a hard time telling where they had dug! Their work is the best experience I've had with a foundation company to date. I was between a rock and a hard place. My house was on the market, but my foundation was broken and wasn't selling. I called many foundation companies and they either quoted me at twice the price, or like all, their soonest date was over two months out. Tom at Dodson Foundation Repair was not only able to match the best bid, but also had the fastest time! His crew came out and knocked out the job in several hours. We were able to close on my house just a week later without losing money or causing funding issues. Tom was kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and professional. The work was amazing and very quick and neat. I will say I have been a Full Time Realtor for years and have seen many foundation crews and their work, this crew didn’t leave any evidence of the work being done and looks just as we had it before. They even gave me the expectation that they may have to go through the concrete back patio and instead of doing that they tunneled from the side to save multiple holes through the concrete. They were also very responsive and easy to get scheduled with competitive pricing. I highly recommend and professionally, I will be giving them the chance to work with my clients when needed.

Very bad. Foundation is not stable. Work was done back in Jan. 2019. We are still getting large cracks and walls are pulling apart at corners. We had the foreman back, he refused to admit there were any new problems. Basically insinuated we were lying ( confused is the word he used. ) We would never recommend this company and regret using them.

Tom and I met at the Property on the morning of October 17. Tom inspected the house and gave the Foundation a clean Bill of Health. What really impressed me was that Tom insisted that I understand everything he was doing- how and where he was taking readings, what the tolerances were and why. He even had me physically take readings and do the Math. I wasn't just told that the Foundation was OK- I was shown why. To top it off- since there was no work to be done, I offered to pay Tom for the Inspection and he refused to take payment.

Tom Dodson came out right on time.
I have a cracked garage floor where water has seeped up in the past.
Unlike other estimates from other companies that came out, Tom explained that I really did not need any work done.
The issue was related to the extreme amount of rain from spring of 2015. Other companies suggested extreme measures that ranged from $6,000 to $20,000.
I value his honest opinion.
