Recent Tree Service Reviews in Allen

  • Greenview Lawn and Landscape
I cannot recommend this company enough. They all did fantastic work and were such a pleasure to work with. We did tree removal, new retaining walls, artificial turf, new sod, flowerbeds, river rock, new sprinklers, new fence, pool deck paint, and they reinstalled our existing deck railing that was about to fail (built by others). They turned a space we didn’t like into something we couldn’t be more proud of!

  • GH Complete Construction Services
Haim Gamaliel with G&H Construction was great to work with on the complete remodeling of my boyhood home in Dallas. Even though I now live 2,000 miles away, Haim kept me informed daily with phone calls, videos and photographs of the work he and his crew were doing. I only wish I had another home in Dallas so I could hire him again! Tim Bullar

  • Greenview Lawn and Landscape
Greenview's work is excellent. Their crews do a great job. They were timely and very easy to work with once the job began. We will certainly plan to work with them again in the future. There was a lack of communication in between signing the quote and scheduling the work though. It took us 2 weeks to get a response and get the work scheduled. However, once it was booked everything happened very quickly. They do great work

  • Angry Beaver Tree Solutions
He came to my home and looked over all to be done. He quoted me a price to do all the work needed. He was very professional and quoted me a very fair price. The heat was terrific but he quickly completed the work and even cleaned up all the debris. It looked really awesome! I now have a very neat clean yard. Thanks to Angry Beaver..lo

  • Torres Total Tree Service
They were very efficient and quickly did all that I asked. The same day I was complimented by two of my neighbors on the work that Torres Total Tree Service performed. I am thinking about asking them to do more work for me.

  • City Wide Tree Services LLC
It was perfect and he did everything he was supposed to do. He was a very nice guy, came back and blew off the debris off my front porch. I also recommended him to my neighbors.

  • Campos Tree Service
Jose and his team are professionals who deliver on their word. They are prompt, courteous, and efficient. Jose came out the day after I called him, gave me a quote, and started work the same day. He and his team trimmed and cut back all our trees and shrubs, including a 50' oak tree. Everything looked great, and they cleaned up the yard and the pool after themselves

Tree Service FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to remove a tree?

Answer: Typically, tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000. Tree removal costs vary widely based on the number of trees being removed, the height of each tree, the diameter of each tree trunk, and accessibility to the tree. Smaller trees are usually less expensive to remove than larger ones, as are those that are more easily accessible.

  2. Do you need a permit to cut down a tree?

Answer: In many areas, you don’t need a permit to cut down a tree on your own private, residential property. But some municipalities may require tree removal permits for conservation purposes or to comply with local ordinances. When you hire a tree removal pro, they’ll be able to tell you whether you need a permit for your specific tree removal project.

  3. When is a good time to trim trees?

Answer: In most regions, the best time to trim your trees is during the winter months. During the active growing season (spring through fall), trimming your trees can leave them more vulnerable to disease and less likely to thrive. During the winter months, when trees are dormant, trimming them will cause less stress and leave them ready to grow again in the spring.

  4. What is the average cost to cut a tree down?

Answer: Tree removal costs between $200 and $2,000 per tree. Establishing an average cost can be difficult because each tree will be assessed and priced based on factors like height, trunk diameter, and accessibility. In general, smaller trees cost less to remove than larger trees, as do trees that are more accessible.

  5. How much does it cost to service a tree?

Answer: The cost to service a tree is typically between $430 and $1,320. The cost to service a tree depends on several factors, including what exactly you’d like done, the tree’s height, its health, the location of the tree, and local labor costs. The national average cost for tree services is $865. Tree trimming isn’t necessary for all trees but can improve their health and longevity by encouraging new growth.

  6. What is the difference between tree trimming and pruning?

Answer: While tree trimming and tree pruning might appear similar to the untrained eye, they serve different purposes. Tree pruning is used to thin a tree by removing unnecessary or burdensome branches. Tree trimming promotes healthy growth by trimming but not removing branches.
