"Very fast and efficient response and work. Not extremely cheap but they gave me a discount on the second faucet, and it was great anyway considering how fast they responded and did it. It took less than two hours from my call to all the work done. We will definitely use this service again."

"We initially were happy with the service we received on our dishwasher.  However it quickly became apparent that something was wrong.  After the pump was replaced it was very noisy and did not clean dishes well.  We were also getting new error codes that were not there before.  It took 3 weeks to get a call back from All Better despite several attempts to contact them, which is why I am giving them a poor grade on responsiveness and a somewhat diminished grade on professionalism.  After we finally got ahold of them the technician returned and said that the drain hose under the sink had fallen.  Also, the new error codes were because a control board had failed and needed to be replaced.  We were told that we would be called the next day with the price of the control board.  Instead, a week went by and then we were called and told that the part had come in, and asked when we wanted to have it installed.  Sometime after the second visit, we realized that the dishwasher had a significant leak and was doing damage to our hardwood floors and cabinets.  The unit was not leaking before the first time it was worked on.  This time communication was pretty good, and the owner of the company came out right away.  He showed me where the leak was coming from, the sump assembly, and on further inspection inside the dishwasher I could see where the seal around the drain inside had come up.  He verified on the phone with his technician that he had not intentionally taken apart that part of the dishwasher at any point.

So what really happened?  No one knows, for sure.  We know that the unit wasn't damaging the floors before it was worked on the first time, but it's also pretty clear that the source of the leak wasn't the part they directly worked on.  It is possible, I suppose, that the leak was originally small and was there the whole time, and may have been the cause of the pump and other failures in the first place.  But then why the floor damage?  My opinion is that something they did to repair the pump, or something that happened putting the dishwasher back in place jostled the seal on the sump assembly and either created or exacerbated the leak, putting the rest of the chain of events into motion.  Either that, or the leak was the cause of the pump failure and all the other failures in the first place, and they misdiagnosed it.   In my opinion they are at least partially if not fully responsible for the damage that was done to my floors and cabinet, but since it is not coming directly from the parts they serviced there is no way to prove it.

In terms of fairness, I do have to say, assuming that they are not responsible for the leak, they refunded the full amount we paid for the initial visit.  So now at least in addition to the dishwasher, cabinet, and floor I have to replace I'm not out the $200 for the repair work that they did.  I do believe what I was told, which was that if the parts they directly installed had leaked, they would have taken responsibility for 100% of the damage.  I'm just disappointed that with the situation being what it is, that there is (to me) enough circumstantial evidence that there is a reasonable chance that they are at least in part responsible, that I'm on my own for the repairs to my home.

"We contact this contractor to visit our house to look at some of the random stuff we had going on. The gentleman that visited was very helpful and informative. He looked at our doors, toilets, kitchen sink, and outdoor faucets. He made a few recommendations but was not pushy in the least bit. We were able to get some of the repair fixed in a matter of days and we are very happy with the service Worley provided. We would definitely hire these guys again.

"Great. Wayne is very professional and efficient. He re-positioned several doors in the patio such that they would stay closed, installed several of the Fast Trek systems, assembled a shelving system, assembled and sealed a potting bench and hung an LED light. Very happy with the work - fairly priced. In the process of hiring again."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Many homeowners stress about cleaning before an emergency plumber arrives, but you’re far better off doing the following while you wait for your plumber to get to your home:

  • Shut the water off at your water main if you have a leak or a burst pipe

  • Avoid using any water fixtures in your home, including appliances

  • Clear a path to the problem area so that it’s easily accessible

  • Consider shutting your breaker if you’re concerned that the leak may affect your electrical system

Yes, you can usually replace a sink without replacing the vanity. It really depends on the type of vanity and the type of sink. You’ll need to make sure you purchase a sink that will fit in the existing space. This requires precise measurements. You’ll also have to carefully remove your old sink, making sure you don’t damage the countertop during the replacement.

Install the sink between 30 inches and 34 inches away from the floor. However, this height could be adjusted accordingly for particularly tall or short residents. To accommodate wheelchair users, the vanity should leave a space underneath that is at least 29 inches tall, 30 inches wide, and 25 inches deep.

Putting in a new bidet attachment or seat requires as little as 30 minutes. Installing a full bidet toilet or stand-alone bidet might take one to three hours. Additionally, if you need a GFCI outlet installed, that can take 30 minutes to three hours depending on the complexity of the job.

Quartz sinks are incredibly durable, making them resistant to cracks and chips. They’re a high-density engineered stone, so they’re less likely to crack when exposed to daily impact. But because quartz sinks are so dense, they are very heavy, making installation a challenge. If you’re a novice, there’s a chance dropping one during installation could crack or break the sink. Additionally, repeatedly dropping heavy objects into them could create a crack.
