Everything went great. Chris and I set an appointment and I was called at the appointment time because the driver was running a little behind for the day. That was more than acceptable because Michael (the driver) called me and explained why. The service was done as expected in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. I will definitely recommend Septic Pro to my neighbors

The owner of Septic Pro, Chris Campbell called me back within 5 minutes of my leaving a message. We set an appointment date and time for him to come to our house. He was punctual and was within 5 minutes of the appointed time. Chris uncovered our septic tank, made an evaluation. Much to my surprise he indicated the tank looked good, was not full, appeared to have an excellent bacterial breakdown base and did not need evacuation. Since our home was 4-1/2 years new I asked him to evacuate the septic tank anyway. This way we would have a chronological base from which to go forward. Chris was very professional and explained what he was doing at every step in the process. He was also very meticulous and cognizant about maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of our property. Clean out took about 40 minutes (pumping uphill to this truck 50 feet away). During the entire time he remained engaged, very friendly and conversant. Having experienced septic tank problems at our business previously in another state, after the job was done, I asked Chris what further steps we could take as homeowners to prevent any potential future problems. He recommended the name of a product we could apply in our shower monthly to enhance bacterial action in the tank. He told us we could order it on line. He also said he always carried it on his truck and offered to sell it to us. He advised us that he charged a little more for it than the price paid on line. The cost differential was nominal. For us it was more convenient to buy it from Chris rather than ordering on line, paying a shipping/delivery fee, and then waiting for delivery. There is no question, Chris made this experience very easy. He was not eager to perform or charge for a service he felt was unnecessary. He was prepared leave having only charged us for his service call (disclosed to me on the first call when the appointment was made). He was honest and up front about everything. Would I recommend or have Chris Campbell and Septic Pro back again? In a heart beat! Oh, as an aside, Chris Campbell also offers a 10% discount to all active duty and retired military service members. He does require documentation however

Mr Rooter called almost immediately and was at my home in less than 1 hour. Mr Rooter's technician Chris identified, cleared, and verified the blockage very quickly. After clearing the blockage, Chris set up a followup visit for the following week to pump out our septic tank and install a clean out fitting. We were very satisfied with all of the work

When we made the appointment the week prior to service, they said they would call ahead of time to let us know they were on the way. That's exactly what happened. True to their word, the following week on the day of the scheduled service they called about an hour before arrival. The guy shows up, located the tank, uncovers the lid, and pumps it out. Afterward, he covers the tank back up and he was gone. No long, drawn-out process. No false problems to sell us other services: "Oh, I see this needs to be replaced. We can do that for a small, additional charge." No... none of that. They did exactly what they said they'd do. They came in and pumped out the tank and left. Other than a small patch of dirt in the yard where he had to dig to uncover the tank lid, you'd never know he was there. My only complaint (and admittedly it is a small one) is that I wish he had went under the house to perform a visual inspection of the sewage pipes. But that's not what I had called them for. I called to have the septic tank pumped out and that's what they did. Fast, professional job... I would be shocked if anyone had any real complaints. I HIGHLY recommend them

"Called Brothers and plumber (female - never saw one before) came by and confirmed that the existing heater was badly rusted. Showed me a printed price list for an equivalent heater and expansion tank (a recent requirement per code). I agreed to the price and she called and placed the order. While we waited for the new heater, she removed the old one and cleaned up the area. The new heater arrived and she installed it all including some new plumbing that was color coded for hot and cold water. The job was neat, clean, quickly done and professional. I do no remember the woman's name who did the work, but she knew her business. Very happy.

Whether you’ve had a septic tank for years or it’s your first one, you need to know how to live with one. This guide covers septic tank maintenance for a long-lasting system.
Replacing a drain field requires digging up quite a bit of land and involves a decent amount of testing. Using this guide, you’ll learn how much it costs to replace a drain field based on a few key factors such as size and type of septic system.
Septic tanks are a great way to treat wastewater in rural areas, but septic odor can be an unfortunate side effect of these systems. Learn more about the causes for the bad smell, including cracked pipes, dry drains, and other culprits.
Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.
How often should a septic tank be serviced?
Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.
What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?
Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.
How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?
Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.
How much does it cost to install a septic system?
Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.
How long does a septic system last?
Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
